Seems unlikely, the TSW7 FAQ says "Monthly mastery challenges will continue to take place and reward players with unlockable posters that can be viewed in-game".

Conspiracy theory I know, but is somethIng going on at DTG we don’t know about? Procedural or personnel changes? Anyhow, now I’ve figured out how to restart the BR285 in SimRail after loading a save game, I shall be continuing my run from Warsaw to Katowice. I’ve also got a good game going on Transport Fever 2 (reluctant to buy 3 due to price and hardware specs) plus some OMSI 2, keeping me happy.
The weeks leading up to their big annual release and the weeks thereafter are probably by far the busiest of the year. So if any monthly mastery is bound to get mangled in their busy schedules, it's this one
Jan already explained on this very page that the monthly mastery will a bit later this month. Is it annoying? Yes. But I'm sure they have their reasons for it being a bit later. All we can do is wait patiently for it to go live
I could prob see it go live when they release the next roadmap which is prob next week maybe? Idk rlly
I believe the roadmap is the week after next. Besides, they won't wait if it's ready; I suspect it's just something really simple that's been missed or messed up. Always go for mess-up over conspiracy.
DTG did say they were going to revamp the monthly, presumably to make it more interesting. I suspect they may have run into some issues with programming the revamp.

We’re planning to share the October Mastery later this month, and we apologise for the delay. It's like DTG is actively trying to destroy customer engagement. I've stopped buying most routes when they removed route-based achievements, I've not even installed the free TSW7 upgrade yet, and now this. At this point, I don't see much reason to even open TSW6 until Christmas. *More ranting in the Enough Is Enough!!! thread, long may it live.
So are we gonna get the mastery this week i wonder. Still no Mastery yet I know it doesn't really add much i like to do theyl challenges even if they are easy.
Any idea when this goes live? I'm not seeing it in-game yet. I can't believe that October and December are literally the same! Oh no, wait... yes I can... Knowing DTG completing October will tick December off at the same time!
Free roam for 20 minutes? Time to gather some collectibles then. Tbf I usually like to collect them spawning on foot in timetable mode, so I can spot some trains at the same time.
The question is, do they actually mean free roam, or do they mean on foot in timetable mode? Because the last time (or possibly two) the former was a goal, it was actually the latter.
There does seem a singular lack of imagination, makes me wonder if come the New Year they will quietly also ditch this Mastery. Crazy thing is, this was something even the sceptics like myself were quite positive about, technical glitches notwithstanding, to maintain a bit of interest in firing the game up. One would have thought the various Monthly’s would have been conceived far in advance of the actual start date and just need to be triggered as necessary.
I think you are right there Vern come January there will be no more masteries. And the lack of effort put into these ones says it all really.
I'm still holding out hope that this was an error on their part, and December will actually be more imaginative.
So what kind of masteries would you like to see? Keep on mind that someone who only owns TSW7 base content has to be able to finish them
Just the monthly masteries as they were until September. These are not route-related and can be completed anywhere.
Sometimes there would be seasonal challenges,such as doing timetable runs in rain or snowy/low temperature conditions. Not my particular cup of tea, but grabbing collectibles, walking a set distance, objectives achieved have all featured previously. And we have yet to reprise the massively engaging Feb 2025 target of driving 1000 miles/1600km. That one was superb.
If they do keep up the quarterly masteries, I'm up for a massive mileage target. Should be doable to do 5,000 km in three months LOL
Don't think this has actually gone live still for October. Just fired up the game and all that's shown in the Mastery section is the old route ones. Oh well, back to openOMSI...

Makes you wonder what has gone on internally, though. Have they all gone on strike or a work to rule or something? Very odd and the public explanation doesn’t really cut it. Perhaps we should apply the same maxim to buying new content i.e. next week, maybe, hopefully…
First they came for our DLC achievements and we said nothing then they came for our DLC masterys and we said nothing now they come for our monthy masterys and its time to stand up and stop paying for ever decresing value DLC that increase in cost but not in value
dtg_jan Morning Jan I have question the upcoming Monthly masteries are no different from previous ones. So why is it taking so long to get this months ones out.
