Turn off motion blur solved that for me. I also got that effect on the wheels of the train while driving fast.

That’s not true at all and a bit of a myth.
I know the TSW demographics are a bit older, but even here the majority will be able to tell the difference between 30, 60 and 100+ fps.
The human eye can detect artifacts in the hundreds of Hertz range.
The reason why we perceive 24p cinema as fluid is because the motion blur is baked into the footage and we’ve been conditioned to it for a long time.

Don't worry, "the human eye can only see x fps" is just a meme now.

I don't need to watch a video; I can just run the route in the game. It won't be perfectly smooth anyway due to the game's specific features. But a stable 50 FPS in real life smooths things out a bit during the inevitable stutters. Not to mention that not everyone has monitors that can sync at refresh rates below 48 Hz. I have a budget monitor, any drop below 48 fps and I get the same effect as on an old monitor without FreeSync.

Only AFMF is no longer needed. FSR FG is available in the game and is available at the engine level, not as a software implementation in the driver.

This meme has a longer beard than Vern.
