As per the feedback thread… Various issues with the physics. Various issues with the lighting. Various issues with the AWS/DSD. Various issues with the 3D model. Very disappointing for a much anticipated and wanted add on.
for me everything worked normally idk why sometimes only certain people have issues with dovetail live not tracking or smt
One thing I have learned from previous months, is that you must go back to the main/start menu for certain things to register. Don't just save and come off the run and exit to desktop etc. directly.
I found that every minute spent in game counts towards the goal. Driving or on foot, timetable mode or fee roam: doesn't seem to matter. Which makes this quest superfluous, as you accumulate it while doing the distance goal anyway.
It appears to just have been slow updating the tracker, logged back in just now and the full 20 minutes has been registered.
I didn't play Free roam, but made a little things at the stations (feed the dog, take the things, using the cannons, etc.) and it is counted too this time, Need to drive 510 more km-s to finish tier 1
I might dip in quickly later, get some of it done but I have a Road Trip run into Chicago to finish first. I actually quite like the idea of a quarterly set of objectives rather than every month, maybe that is the way forward DTG Alex .
Respectfully, I disagree this is a good way forward. What's the point giving me the challenge to drive 400 miles if you're giving me three months (or I guess 2 and a 1/4 considering it took them three weeks to set it live)? There's no challenge to that. At all. A goal which which I have that long to do isn't an incentive to play the game. Which is what masteries are supposed to be. And now we have 3 tiers over 3 months, as opposed to 6 tiers over that same time frame also so it's just less of a challenge even more. I certainly don't think this change justifies dumping route masteries either, and how is a new player who doesn't keep up with the community going to understand the inconsistancy as to why (almost) all the older routes have them, but the newer, price increased routes don't? (And honestly neither do I considering what I just said)
