the control boot of the train, all the instruments are white, none of the switches are working, there is no way to make the train engine start, or do anything with any of the trains. From what I could see the outside of the trains look great, but so far the inside is not at all up to what is shown in videos I was able to set the game to use the 4K of my screen, but the inside is disappointed I was using the TWS, and I was told that this game is much superior, but so far it can not do anything

I used the TWS, and I also bought this 2020, and this one, and I know that I am in the right place, as I use the train simulator website to get here. is the one that is so sub-standard compare to all the screen shot, then again all of the screen shot are showing the trains from the outside and not from the control boot also, there is no mentioned in any screen shot about the control of the game
Train Simulator is over ten years old and based on an old graphics engine, and yes, a lot of the internals of the locos are basic depending on the age of that particular add on. Newer DLC tend to be better modelled so maybe look for newer stuff
Check out the loco and enhancement packs from Armstrong Powerhouse, the cab detail is awesome for most
The way the game & trains work are in the Manual for each type of train. You find the manuals in \Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Manuals If Your display looks wrong in the cab it might be down to Your settings in the game When it is set correctly it looks like this - depending on the train
Would you care to explain what you mean by Control Boot? If you mean the Controls in the Train Cab you can see from the pictures I posted above the view of the controls is quite clear.
