The Amtrak Surfliner Is a Route From Los Angles-San Diego, And Los Angles-San Louis Obispo. Amtrak Uses There Brans New Siemens SC-44 Charger Locomotives, Along Side There Alstom Bi-Level Coaches. It would be a Nice addition To The TSW Route Family especially For Californians To Enjoy.
Depends on where ur coming from, if they make the route from LA-San Luis Obispo then we would get to see UPRR trains, most likely that since they already have the UP license. If they make the route from LA to San Diego, then we would probably not see any freight since they can't get the BNSF license worldwide, only limited to US customers. We might see unbranded content instead, unless they do something as what they did with the TS20 franchise, make a branded version for US customers and an unbranded version for foreign customers
Pretty nice route: I would love to see this route along with Metrolink trains! I would love to see the new SC-44 Charger locomotives, with bilevel cars, probably a GE P42DC for Amtrak long distance trains, a new BNSF GE ES44C4/ET44C4, and EMD SD70ACE and EMD GP50/25 rebuilt for switching and local duties, as well as the new MP36PH-3C with the Bombardier cars/Hyundai Rotems, EMD F59PH/PHI, and EMD F125
What about BNSF Genset switchers or GP60s? I also want the BNSF ET44C4s and all or some of the passenger diesels.
