Proposal: British Railways Standard Class 5

I really think that the British Railways Standard Class 5 4-6-0 should be added.
Just Trains has their own version, but they won't release it on STEAM.

Maybe if DTG were to make their own version and release it on Steam, it would be a success!!!

 

Why not get it from JT, it's very good. Also I doubt whether DTG would make one if there is already one on the market.

 

Actually there is a Standard Class 5 on steam, and it's as good if not better than the JT version. It's made by Bossman Games and is super well done.

 

There isn't a Standard Class 5 on the BMG website. You're not thinking of the LMS/BR Black 5 are you?

 

Two choices
Buy the Standard Class 5 from Just Trains
or wait and see if it gets released thru Steam as other Just Trains locos have been.

But if it gets released thru Steam then it will probably have less scenarios than the JT Version
Just Trains V2 came with 8 liveries and 14 Scenarios
Just Trains V2 thru Steam 5 liveries and 6 scenarios for the same price

I am thinking of the LMS/BR Black 5. The BMG Stanier Standard 5 is available on the steam store.

 

There's already a Black 5 on steam. The old Kuju one and the new one.

 

But the OP was asking about the British Railways STANDARD Class 5
Which is NOT an LMS Black 5

I know, he just said LMS/BR Black 5, so I was thinking about the LMS Stanier design from the 30s.

 

Anyways, don't we have a BR Standard Class 5 on Steam?

 

The only BR Standard Class 5 I am aware of is made by Just Trains. Don't think that has been released on Steam yet but with the amount of JT items appearing on Steam you never know....

Ok, I made a mistake, I found out we had a Class 6, not a 5.

I might as well keep my mouth shut now regarding British Steam.

 

Make sure that the wisthle for the standard class 5 sounds like standard class 5 no 73082 Camelot
