The above would be fantastic additions to TSW2020 as from what I understand DTG not made any of the above in tsw also another idea if problems with obtaining licences from rail franchises how about A DTG branded item of rolling stock based on the above DMU classes also if DTG stuck for route ideas DTG could always create a fictional route/s using the above rolling stock of invent there own DTG branded train franchise for train sim purposes such as DTG eastern rail for example

To add on to that list I belive the class 153 and the class 175 should be added to the game.

Also what would thy be called they have a cab on either end of a single coach so it's not a multiple unit but I also don't see it being classed as a loco becuse it dosn't haul freight or mk 1/2 ect coaches.I guess it's the modern version of the class 121 "Bubble Car".

Up here in Redcar on the TVL we just got rid of them 153's and the Class 142 Pacers. We got 'new' Class 156's which are actually a load of other rail companies cast offs clad in new colours and seat upholstery.

I have a conspiracy that the class 156's are just two 153's coupled together, re-painted and had the cabs removed from the coupled area.

In answer to your question having looked at information the BR Class 153 super sprinter is classed as a rail car having been formed in the 1990,s from two BR class 155 units

I wouldn't have thought thet the class 153 originated from the class 155 but in a way it kind of makes sense as the 153's (in my area) are used for shuttles between Crewe and Shrewsbury. There isn't much point of having 158's 155/156's ect for low density shuttles>

Yea and ironically the original br class 155’s were made by non other than Leyland who famously made the marmite pacer aka nodding donkey trains

Also I hear that British Leyland (I think) created the windscreen wipers for locos such as the 37's. Famous for what was it: clearing the whole window, no,no that doen't sound right oh yea not wiping like 1/4 of the window.

Created and produced quite a bit in their time did Leyland from DMU engines to Cheftain Tanks!
The reason I now live in the Lakes is because of the Leyland Pacers and Sprinters. Dad was moved up here as part of the project and I spent many a day in my youth messing around in them in various states of completion on the production line at Lillyhall!

I doubt it as class 153 were made by Leyland using bus/train parts in similar fashion to pacers 156 were made by metro Cammell at Washwood heath works and have different engines the 153 was made from the former BR class 155
