The CAT SD70ACe locomotive has around 4500 horsepower which is more than the dash 9 or the AC4400. It would be a beast of a locomotive to bring to both console and pc.
Completely agree with you Wavyyj. And the impressive on it are not the 4500 hp. It's the tractive effort of 850 kN. It's more than double of the DB BR 182. A trio of SD70 ace could pull the heaviest freight train. That locos look impressive and their V12 diesel engines and horns sounds impressive.
Totally agree. And besides the specifications, there would be a wider variety of similar (but way different) locomotives rather than just having the AC4400. Although they do the same job generally, the SD70ACe is significantly more efficient.
We for sure need this. I kove the ace, however, if they dont have the correct k5la( k5lla k5hla, whatever it is) it won't be worth it.
We could get a CSX SD70ACe or SD70ACe-T4 (or both would be really great) for Sand Patch and both UP versions for the Peninsula Corridor. I'd love to get the UP Heritage units: including the new George Bush SD70AH and the "Spirit of the UP" version.
I'm new to this forum. More US locomotive liveries, like UP, BNSF, NS and KCS. Adding the heritage locomotives of these class one railroads would be excellent. Updated rolling stocks would be excellent too. Hope someone who has the decision making at Dove Tail is listening. Thanks
I believe he is talking about the old ACEs, the regular SD70ACE introduced back then in 2003, with a 16 cyl 710G3C-T2.
Yes I love the idea of the first modern EMD road locomotive entering TSW! I would love both variants. However I think we would need a longer route so we can have more services with it and run longer trains for more time
