Other than having a more restricted view, I'm not sure it's different enough to the 166 that anyone would actually pay to have it as an add-on DLC. Unless you can tell me otherwise?
Yeah, i get that, and it would be great to have every different type of train and livery that you'd see in real life, but would enough people to make it worthwhile each pay £11.49 to have another train which is probably quite similar to the 166, but with a more restricted view - and on an old route which people may not be playing as much any more? It's not like PC where the Baby Bullet and Switcher both add something entirely new to the route.
I made a thread about the Class 158/159 sprinter a few days ago https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/class-158-and-class-159-express-sprinter.21662/
I mentioned GWR on there which run on the SWR network. There’s no point having so many threads about one traction.
They just don’t run. It’s up to you proof they do run, how on earth do we proof they don’t run? Turbos (Class 165/166s), Class 80xs, Class 332s, Class 57/sleeper, Class 387s, Class 345s, Class 360s and HST* all run into Paddington. *before you jump at me saying they don’t run, notice how I didn’t include an ‘s’ at the end to make it plural
Well I could go outside on the real route and wait 3 hours to spot one but that's not possible right now...
That's a 100 mile stretch, they cant 'just add it'. There never going to come back to GWE I can guarantee it, they just dont care about it anymore.
I’ve been living really close to one of the GWE stations and I can you I have never seen a class 158.
Class 158 is much further West. I live alongside the line and have only ever seen one en route to OOC in 2004. Almost all former 165/166 routes have been changed to 387's now.
