Nice one. But this modern classic from the Melbourne metro still remains to be beaten:

What if a animal who can't read goes onto the tracks?Did the wise guy who decided to post these signs even consider that.

Reading obviously isn't that big a thing with this family!

    Dumb ways to nearly die.

Could it have been them just dressed for a photo and your average everyday American. (Well, less than average.) Ill admit I have a couple photos of me on the tracks. But the tracks I was on there's 2 trains a day and the trackmen were cool with it.

I have seen too many videos of people getting frustrated at delays then pulling the green EGRESS hadle (emergency door release in Britain) ang walking up/ on the track (often teack that is equipped with 3rd rail) and for some reason it scares me because I know that at least one of them will be complaicant and/ or careless and be killed.

are you aware of the 61016 text system for British Transport Police? Im ex-BTP who has seen my fair share of trespass incidents and sadly death on the railway. if it ever happens and you see it, or find videos of it online you can make BTP aware by texting 61016 with location, what you saw etc and it gets dealt with.

I wonder how many of you have seen this?

I am about the same age as these children and remember this being shown on television, which seems unbelievable today.

Bonus points awarded for recognising the class of DMU. :)
Do you like the oil tail lamp?

Ooh! I hadn't thought of the 103. No, I always reckoned the Park Royals were rather elegant - they had slightly waisted sides giving a pleasing curve to the cab. There is no way the DMU in the video could be called "elegant" or "pleasing". Perhaps a more obvious difference is the position of the destination blind.

The video was filmed in 1977.
