Introduction: The S-Bahn Rhein-Main is running around and through Frankfurt. The S-Bahn Rhein-Main has 9 Lines: S1-S9. Services: The S1 service of the S-Bahn Rhein-Main system is an important railway connection running east–west. It operates between the Hesse state capital Wiesbaden and the southern Offenbach rural district serving the densely populated area along the Main river. With a route length of over 70 km (43 mi), 30 stations and a journey time of 87 minutes, it is the longest S-Bahn service in the Rhine-Main area. The average speed of travel is about 49.72 km/h (30.9 mph) and a station distance of about 2 km (1.2 mi). Trains: The Rolling stock on this Route is the BR430 and earlier it was the BR423 and BR420. The BR423 is used on other services like S3/S4/S8. All the Trains are in the DB S-Bahn Rhein-Main Livery. The owner of the Trains is the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) and the trains are Operated by the DB-Regio. The cab of the BR430 is the same like the cab of the BR422. They are except the front very simular. So you only have to modify the BR422(Rhein Ruhr Ost/ Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr) to build the BR430. The BR423 is the same Platfom like the BR425 (Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr). So the Trains doesn´t have to fully developed from 0. S1 Stations: The S1 Service has 32 Stations on the line. Excuse me for my bad english
Nice route suggestion. This reminds me of Rapid Transit though, but it is still something I would consider buying.
Yes its a bit like Rapit Transit. But it has more Stations and the Tunnel Section is longer and in the middle of the Route. Also you have more AI trains on the Track than on RT.
I would love to see this, the latest German dlc HAUPTSTRECKE RHEIN-RUHR was amazing to play, the versatility between traction and scenery was pleasant to see. However the route was lacking duration. This would be a route of significance distance to utilise the S-Bahn.
Like this suggestion allot, 30 stations and that length will probably be a challenge but perhaps in the future as there tooling improves.
Yes, that is a good suggestion!! But I dont think That DTG will build a route of 70 km, unfortunately. But we can still hope
Bring it on Riesa Dresden and SFS Hannover Wurzburg should give 143 185.5 146.2 185.2 363 ICE 1 ICE 3 DB BR403 on this route if applicable to do so as playable trains. Keep in Mind S-Bahn Rhein-Main DB Baureihe 420 gets counted towards the HMA version if made in terms of Achievement. S-Bahn Rhein-Main 420 alt paint Orange and Cream Produktfarben
hello half of the TSW community is asking to have much longer journeys than that in urban, regional and LGV
J'adore la suggestion moi en tant que joueur français j'aimerais bien découvrir les réseaux S bahn des grandes villes allemande donc Francfort, Berlin, Munich.....
