C4399ACA-D728-4515-813B-4224ABB7091B.jpeg I know this is a lot of miles but I suggested it because of the Scenic Beauty and also being able to Run Canadian Pacific Freight and also Passenger service possibly the Rocky Mountaineer passenger train which takes visitors on an exclusive train ride through the Scenic Canadian Rockies! This picture is Banff Curve and is same place as other picture only no train and winter scene!

I would also like to see a Canadian route. The scenery is second to none up there and I feel like the TSW engine would be able to capture it nearly perfectly.

The Rocky Mountaineer is very good way to see the Canadian Rockies there are a lot of videos on Utube on this if you never seen it.

This was my favorite routing in the old MSTS and I wrote a number of activities for it.

Single main line action and train meets + Via Rail old stainless steel rolling stock... wooow that would be so great, especially for that multiplayer option that's on the way, isn't?

This would be a great suggestion for TSW running from Vancouver all the way to Calgary. It would very scenic the run through the Fraser Canyon would be nice.

Looking forward to the day DTG decides to make this for TSW. A great proposal indeed.

Oh man. This is like a much more scenic version of the sand patch grade, with much more to it and its a Canadian route? What more could you ask for. Lets see this done DTG :)

Canadian nationals route from edmonton to prince rupert is another great route with a grade of no more 1% but steep enough to hinder heavy trains

This route would be outstanding for TSW2 and it’s been in suggestion box for 3 years I wanted to update this because of the outstanding route it is. if it can’t be done on the length it is make it from Revelstoke to Banff Springs or something to that effect Would enjoy an AC4400CW Canadian Pacific and another engine SD40-2 or maybe a tier 4 loco like an ET44AH or something of that sort. If anybody that knows of particular engine that they think should be in this route post picture and describe the engine for our viewers thanks. Another thing it would be better for passenger service if it was from Vancouver to Calgary because there would be more stops for passengers.

I would think, given the length limitations that DTG is using at the moment, Golden to Lake Louise would be the first to get the spiral tunnels in. That is a challenging grade coming down through the tunnels. I have driven it many times in the old MSTS days and even after we got the modifications from the mysterious BIN so we could tweak the physics, it still was hard to control a heavy train.

The TS route from Lake Louise to Revelstoke is spectacular but, at 150 miles or so, probably too long for TSW2. I would like to see something that terminates at Vancouver.

The flight length in Canada is not suitable for DTG to start, but for third-party studios.

My loco suggestions: CP SD70ACu, ES44AC or AC4400CW, and GP38-2 for a modern version, plus the locos for the Rocky Mountaineer. For a vintage version: GP7/9, FM H-24-66 Trainmaster, Alco RSD17 (CP had 1), MLW (Alco) C630, FPA-2, and FP7/F7B. An original 1950s-era Canadian consist would be awesome to include as well. If we get steam locos later on, a Selkirk 2-10-4 or Royal Hudson model could be added as DLC. This route would be amazing. The scenery would look fantastic from a Canadian dome car or the Rocky Mountaineer.

Not raining on any parade here but far too long for a TSW2 route.

    • Why can't TSW have a longer route than TS?

Because it takes more time to due the increased detail required, also because the sim's young and tech that can allow for longer routes isn't mature yet.

TSW2 can handle longer routes but it adds more time to make the longer routes. As the amount of detail to be added in building that would go into building the route.

    • The scenery of the Rocky Mountains is an excellent long-distance DLC choice. There are few houses here, all of which are scenery, DTG can consider
