Newbie With A Question

Hi, I am a TS newbie, never played the game before so pardon my ignorance.
I have completed a couple of scenarios with out any errors and arrived and departed every station on time, but at the end its not giving me the tick or whatever to say i have completed that scenario. Am I doing something wrong?

 

Having started the game and before you plat a Scenario go in to Settings > Gameplay and see if Career Scoring is ticked
If not ticking it should solve the problem

Hi Peter, I have just done a 15 minute route, error free and it didnt work. The Career Scoring was already ticked, so i unticked it then ticked it again to see if it would work but it didnt

Are you using advanced controls? If not, you will not have the scenario marked as completed. I have seen this on stream before.

 

So you are supposed to play Career Scenarios with the Hornby F4 Hud and Controls set as Simple?
That does not sound right

 

The way I interpreted it is that you need to play with advanced controls.

 

I don't know every single scenario yet, forgive me trying to come up with basic troubleshooting. :P

 

You could let us know which Scenarios you have had to play in Simple mode to gain a tick
It was you that suggested it had to be played that way then other people could then try it to see if it does give a tick

As far as I'm concerned you only get a tick with career scenarios with advanced settings not simple mode.

 

TrainSim_Fan is correct, it was a general question on whether the user is using Advanced Mode. Lay off, I know that detail, hence why I suggested it. I was not aware the train does not work in Simple Mode, OK?
