Aws Class 47?

Hey everyone,

I've looked in the NTP manual to activate the AWS for the Class 47, but I still can't find it. I've turned on the AWS Cab Changeover lever, but nothing happens.

Can anyone help me? Thank you!

EDIT: I found out my problem.
The AWS isolation lever is to the left of the cab changeover lever. This has been bothering me for a long while now!

 

So does AWS work on NTP even if turned on in the cab? I just did a CL47 run the other night from Manchester to Standedge Tunnel before i got sleepy and called it a night. I never heard a peep out of it, after acknowledging the initial horn from unisolating it.

I use AWS all the time on other routes without issue, so...

 

I only ran a service through East Coastway, and it rang consistently which was fun!

 

Ahhh i always forget you can run CL47 on ECW.

 

The route didn't have AWS in 1983 so I'm told.
