My proposal if for the West Coast Mainline between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central. The route is 50 miles long which I think is a reasonable distance considering that about 10 miles will have already been build for the Bakerloo line. The route would look like the below image.
    upload_2020-6-20_8-35-56.png
    The route features stations of:
London Euston, South Hampstead, Kilburn High Road, Queen's Park, Kensal Green, Willesden Junction, Harlesden, Stonebridge Park, Wembley Central, North Wembley, South Kenton, Kenton, Harrow & Wealdstone, Headstone Lane, Hatch End, Carpenders Park, Bushey, Watford High Street, Watford Junction, Kings Langley, Apsley, Hemel Hampstead, Berkhamstead, Tring, Cheddington, Leighton Buzzard, Bletchley and Milton Keynes Central.

I think that this is a good route because it provides a variety of services.
There are stopping services with London Overground. There are semi-fast services with London Northwestern Railway and Southern. And there are express services with Avanti West Coast. It could even provide some Caledonian Sleeper services.

The rolling stock for the route could be:
    Class 378
    [IMG]
    Class 710
    [IMG]
    Class 377
    [IMG]
    Class 350
    [IMG]
    Class 390
    [IMG]
    Class 92

Looks nice. Couple of things though :
    1. You wont get all that rolling stock I suggest the 390 (pendilono), 350, 377 and 378.
    2. The route is exactly long for a 390. Could you extend the route a little. Possibly extend the route as far as Rugby???

    Really nice suggestion
    1. For the class 377 southern services you would need an extension to East Croydon.
    2. Avanti West Coast is new so I don’t think a licence will be possible at the moment

There’s no reason why being new should hold back a license. You could argue it helps to raise awareness of the brand/company.

I think that the 710 is more likely than the 378 because the 710s have mostly replaced them on this route.

For Dovetail Games if they want this route for Train Sim World 2 the class 377 can be layered in from East Coast way just needs a pantograph on the 3rd car which is the PTSO. That way you can use the 377 on both ECW and WCML

For me, I would actually prefer the service further north. Especially if you're wanting Pendolinos. If Preston to Carlisle was done, you could have Northern, TPX and Avanti, as well as freight.

If it was set in the 80s, you could have the swap overs of diesel to electric locomotives at Preston. Especially if they are going south via Bolton or towards Blackpool North.

In My Opinion there is too much around London at the moment, so other parts would benefit having some exposure.

Isn't Avanti First Group? The people who like to do licensing quite a bit.

It's first group with the Italian FS Trenitalia Division. Direct link to Avanti About https://www.avantiwestcoast.co.uk/about-us/a-pioneering-partnership. That means DTG will need to ask FS Italian Railways for the licensing on this route or do it directly since the first group also owns GWR. By the way TS21 has Avanti WCML trains in this route

There's an easy way of adding class 377 to WCML is layering the ECW Southern Class 377 to WCML with the 3rd car a PTSO getting a Pantograph.

I like the idea, it would be perfect from London Euston to Milton Keynes Central, but it would be nice if it went a lot further. Overall, excellent suggestion.

Great idea! Would be awesome if UK electric loco's got some sort of representation, I would be happy with a 90/92 or what would be great is an 86 for freight duties.

    • Part of the route already built
    • Good relations (or so it seems) with first group (GWR & Avanti)
    • DTG have good relations with TfL too
    • Idk about London Midland, but it has appeared in TS twice in the last few years (that I know of)
    • Offer of potential Caledonian Sleeper too
    • Pendolino
    • Desiro
    • Ability to reuse the 377 and use the 377 as a base for the 378
    • Busy Route with variety
    • The potential to have Bakerloo trains running alongside (just for show) at the side
    • The potential for WCML trains to pass by on Bakerloo Line as well
    • Interesting route
    • Reusable assets from Bakerloo Line (for the Queen's Park & North section)
    • Probably would sell quite well
    • I would buy it
    Do I like this? Yes
    Would I buy this? Yes.

You mean East Coastway for Class 377 complete with a tutorial on how to switch between 25kv 50hz & 750v DC Third rail Top Contact for WCML. Avanti First Group with FS Italian Railways. DTG licensing with FS might be WCML and Milano Chiasso Railway to which Rivet Games can do Gotthard Bahn Bellinzona Lugano Chiasso.

DTG already have a license for Avanti West Coast, so getting one for TSW2 won't be difficult.

Yeah they say there weren't as much trees and poor mountains on Arosa as there should be because of "performance" when Clinchfield and Cane Creek both exist...

Which 3rd party developer should do this route then should it be Just Trains or Creative Rail? Besides Dovetail Games for WCML South Milton Keynes Central to Euston for Train Sim World

They need to train Keith Ross up on TSW editing and get him to replicate his stunning work on WCML North or WCML over Shap.
