Although we do already have a South Coast line with Southern on TSW i think a SWR service from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo would be very good. London Waterloo is the busiest station in England more than a quarter of a million people use the station every day. I think this would be a very good addition to the game. This would use the Class 444. The line could also branch off from Surbiton like it does and join back up at Guildford. Rhein Rhur Osten does the same thing with the line splitting in 2.

Great idea. This could maybe feature some 701s on the Waterloo to Guildford services.

I was just looking at a network rail all stations route map and this does look like a good idea. What I would suggest is for the line to branch off at Raynes Park and then meet at Guildford as well so there are more possibilities to what you have suggested cosmoreedoconnor as this would then allow for trains to go to down the Chessington branch as well. But I really like this Idea overall :).

    Reasons this wont happen :
    • It's already in TS1.
    • It's to long.
    • Bland AI patterns.
    • DTG dont make routes on the requests of 3 people.

Come on, you’ve got to let people make their route suggestions, without coming in and splattering your attitude all over them. If you don’t like a suggestion just stay quiet. You don’t get to say what routes get made and you shouldn’t be putting people off suggesting them. All suggestions are made by one person so what your last bullet point was all about is anyone’s guess.

It dosen't matter if its in TS1 or not. The GWR was in TS1 way before we got GWE*on TSW.
    * Albeit the one we got was shorter.

TrainSim_Fan Your appraisal of the likelihood of this being made is appreciated, however it's not doing much to lighten the mood is it? Route suggestions are the place for anyone to talk about their ideal routes or scenarios, whether plausible or not. The important thing is that even though we might never be able to fulfill those hopes, we can see trends and general wishlist items from those posting them.

Therefore, fanciful or not, it's better that any feedback focuses on the "cool or not" rather than the "likely to happen or not".

So...........I can suggest a route that's 500,000,000,000 miles long and have it taken seriously, nice to know. ;)

This is definitely a good idea as what you’ve mentioned is non existent for tsw console players only on pc so anything like this would be a bonus particularly as in current tsw version consoles get far less content

I think you're confusing TS2020 content with TSW content.
The only additional content in TSW on PC is CSX:HH which everyone will get in TSW2.

They were talking about a TSW version of PDL, which doesn't exist on the PC version of TSW either. Your comment was that the console version has "far less content", when it's only down one route. DTG have gone to great lengths to make sure that what you get on one platform you get on all

ARuscoe what Sophie was trying to tell you is that further up the thread, you'll see someone mentioning TS1. This is what she was talking about in her original post...........so. Bear this in mind, let's not reply to me saying I'm wrong because................I can read, henceforth I'm not wrong.;)

I was replying to a comment saying that consoles have way less content than PCs. In TSW it's one route, and TSx isn't on consoles so isn't part of that equation.

Content between the two is often confused as I am sure you (and Sophie) are aware

My first quote responded to the part I am on about, which was "current TSW versions consoles get far less content".

If you read it a little closer, Sophie said that the TSW console players get far less content than PC TSW players because she is confused about TS being a separate game, which many people are. And she said that regardless of what anyone said further up the thread. ARuscoe’s reply was correct. No need to get all argumentative about it.

    No isn’t the answer
They are focussing on expanding the route collection.

Expanding your collection means adding more routes, not expanding existing routes.

    Exactly
They need to add more routes. When they feel like they’ve done enough they will probably do route extensions
