Im wondering if you can the br class 41 for ntp I saw this video but on the tsw fandom it said the train is for tvl & wsr so is it for ntp?
Nope - the Class 31 doesn't run on NTP. Although you could argue that the Class 47 is powered a bit like a de-rated Class 31... ;-) NB: The video shows the Class 31 on TVL with cement wagons - not the huge TEA tankers you get on NTP.
It's actually Miles Platting Station on NTP that's shown on the video. PC mod I think. As Plastic Pal says the Class 47 operates like an underpowered Class 31 as it is!
This is a mod from trainsim.cz with which you can use all UK locomotives on all UK lines. http://www.trainsim.cz/?mod=article&showid=2315&query=
Aaah... of course. Makes you wonder why the 31 isn't available on NTP - even if you needed a relevant consist, there's the dead ECS 101 option. Surely there would be more sales of both the Class 31 loco and the TVL route as a result.... (not that I have any data to support that theory....).....? I might, at some stage in the future... do some tinkering with TSW on PC. But for now, I am settling into TS1 quite nicely... especially following the last sale... ;-)
Really like the 31 on NTP, and I have the trainsim.cz mod, but I'm not happy with it as you can end up with some very strange variations. Saying that, it would be nice to be able to control this mod as TVL would be far better served with 40s, 45's and 47s, as the latter two were very evident at Thornaby in the time period modelled, and I can always find an excuse for a Class 40.
Oh yes, sorry. ECS = Empty Coaching Stock - maybe not a good description for a dead Class 101. I was trying to suggest that TVL already has a 31+101 consist that could be transferred over to NTP.
