With the most recent screenshot from TSW2 of the Bakerloo Line, I really think the only thing missing is a working screen in the station. I'm not asking for accurate train times, maybe just a "welcome to platform # at Piccadilly Circus"? Something needs to go into those blank screens, seems weird implementing them otherwise if they aren't used and are just blank.
May as well just put an 'Out of Order' sign on every one of them or better still, may as well just remove them as they'll probably never work anyway!
Yep. So disappointing these aren’t being used at launch. Hopefully DTG reconsider and make good use of them in an upcoming update.
Matter of opinion and each to their own. I personally don't see the point of having blank screens that do absolutely nothing and it's just a tease as I'd like to see them working, showing information. If they're not there, out of sight, out of mind.
I really would love to know why we don't have working digital signs if a game like OpenBVE can which is just silly
OpenBVE can make fully working signs, because they care more about the final touches that really make or break a simulator. And correct me if I'm wrong but, a sisimulat is meant to be an accurate depiction of the real world. Just say that TFL have shut off the power to the display boards.
One of these signs: A better angle of Piccadilly Circus looks like this, showing how all the signs and other junk fit in: I'm slightly more concerned by the fact that none of the passengers appear to be casting a shadow of any kind, and the whole station looks like it's being illuminated by the sun bleeding through the tunnel walls.
Yeh it does seem that way, hopefully that won't be the final product and will get some proper shadows and in Station lighting
