I have a few questions about the preserved collection and scenario planner: > Will TSW 2 still have the same dependencies as TSW 2020? Do we need Rapid Transit for the 182 to work? Do we need WSR for the 33 to work? In the past it was more understandable, as the scenarios were locked to one route, but with the new planner we have the freedom to do more... > Will there be a decent range of consists? Will the 20 and 31 have a normal passenger consist (and not towing a 101)? At the moment the 20 has no passenger consists out of WSR, and it would be an addition I'd very much love to see. > I'm assuming that if we want AI then we have to manually add them? I'm guessing that there isn't a feature to auto generate AI as per what Train Simulator does in quick drive?
In the Q&A stream last week, they showed us how they created a planned route. In that example, they added each of the AI trains manually one by one. That's all I know about it at this time.
Indeed, I also saw that. I don't think we'll get an auto function, but thought it might be good to ask.
Definitely if you are interested in something it is good you say it so DTG can add it to the list of things that would be good to add at some point if they are not working on it already.
The idea would be to have say the WSR class 47 on the GWE route. But have a list of consists it can haul. Tea wagons, intermodal, JNA,cement, steel basicly anything in the UK.rail wagons inventory and coaches. We should also be able to have a single or double glazed locomotive to run as a light engine move. Regards Hentis
