Will it be available on PS4 as a pre-order or do I have to stay up til midnight, then buy it and leave it downloading all night, before running downstairs like it's Christmas morning?
where are you from as it won't be released on midnight well that's for the case with the uk they said it could be up between 9am and 4pm i think but don't hold me on that
Sam confirmed there is no pre order for console On a note for it coming out after midnight I'm not sure about that I know dlc's and that come after midnight but don't know about a new game
Oh well, I will spend the day building my Kamurocho Yakuza empire until it comes out. Does anyone think there might be a Japanese route in the pipeline for TSW2, I'd really like one.
I'll be among that group of people who wait a day or two after release to see some more gameplay footage, and if everything is going all well, get my hands on it. I'm really looking forward to it!
I was definitely looking forward to getting TSW 2 on release day, or shortly thereafter... but at this point I’m waiting until I feel a whole lot better about DTG taking ownership of issues with their products before I commit anymore $$ to them. Now if things look very solid with the new sim and the included routes after a few weeks, I might pick it up then... but I‘m waiting at least that long to let things settle out. I don’t need a whole new suite of issues to deal with in the new sim on top of what I already have to deal with in TSW 2020. Anyway, that’s my take right now... I hope the release is everything we expect it to be (with little to no warts of course).
The MAGLEV train would be amazing to see as a concept train in TSW 2 but I think it is highly unlikely.
I am also surprising myself by saying I will hang on a few days. I would like the answer from DTG about how the physical disk owners will get RT and GWE as I mentioned in another thread. Should be in the roadmap though but will wait and see. I’ve traditionally bought the majority of stuff on release day but Oakville did leave a bitter taste if I’m honest
When Oakville Subdivision gets released in the preserved collection for TSW 2 I will love to drive the other trains from the other routes on it as the route is literally a sandbox. The industrial area is the sandbox area which is perfect for testing the adhesion physics. NEC was another place I would test speed and power of trains (On the 8+ mile long freight line). But since NEC will sadly not be coming to TSW 2, Oakville and Sand Patch grade will be the only sandbox routes to test trains as of now. I agree as well. But who knows DTG may make an updated longer version of the NEC we had in TSW 2020 or TSW 1 for TSW 2.
No. On top of TSW, I have enough on my plate for the time being. I can hold out to see if there will be a physical relase, further down the line (see what I did there?).
Same your take is what most people here would do. I will buy the base game on day one, However I will NOT buy anymore DLC content until I can justify if what I'm paying for will make me: 1. better self-esteem with my purchase, 2. add a decent amount of new services or new features, or 3. a train I like here in the U.S or anywhere in the world that interests me. (My opinion of trains)
