Yes. Matt said that they chose the Bakerloo line partly due to its short length and were testing out whether they could make it work. That, plus the fact that they now have a lot of assets modelled for LU routes, means it’s a fairly good assumption that they will produce another LU route at some point. I guess they’ll see what feedback they get from the Bakerloo line to make the final decision on whether to make another as DLC.
perfect. i dont have a problem with a route when its about testing. ice and bakerloo. upgraded engine and new assets. better will come in the future
No, and I really don't understand what the appeal of underground routes is. The London Underground lines now each only have a single type of rolling stock, there's only a single type of passenger service pattern, that pattern is a bit tedious with constant stop-starting, tunnels aren't exactly scenic, and on the Bakerloo line anyway the only part of underground stations that has been modelled is the platforms.
I would very much appreciate driving on the Metropolitan line if it was possible. As an ex Northern line tube driver I would love any other line that became available
I love driving the Metropolitan line my favourite London route so accurately detailed. Parts of the Piccadilly from Uxbridge to Rayners Lane and Ealing to Gloucester road are in place but would love to see the whole line completed.
I wouldn’t object to more, but I think that they both need to focus on improving the current underground route and adding more different routes in general for more variety. I don’t think that we need more underground routes right now.
I would definitely want more Underground Routes, but your right, they need to continue to fix the current Bakerloo and make it more realistic before they dive back in to create another one.
Considering how much fun the Bakerloo line is to drive and how much demand there is for more, I think making another LU line sooner rather than later would be a good idea for DTG. As long as you can drive the train manually any of the lines would be a good addition. After ‘driving’ the ICE 3M with both LZB and AFB on, the systems taking all the driving operation away from the driver, and it still being enjoyable, even sitting in a tube train operating automatically could have it’s good points.
