It’s Friday Screens time! The theme for this week - Bridges! Take a look at new screenshots and bridge the gap to launch next week... READ MORE
Looking good, looking forward to the Q and A tonight and the release, which is now less than a week away!
This article made me realize that I have taken bridges for granted. 6 days away from TSW2 launch and I couldn’t be happier with what the articles and streams have provided us with since June 9th. Thanks to Matt and Sam for doing a great job at interacting and communicating with the community. I hope it is a very successful and smooth launch! I can’t wait to feel the wheels slip from under me as I drive up Sandpatch!
Maybe it's a silly question but why below these articles there are only positive emotes and there is no for example thumb down? This is very first forum I have ever seen where only positive reactions can be logged...
Are you referring to the ones at the bottom of the news articles or at the bottom of the forum posts? I believe there not being a negative option is like the saying “if you have nothing good to say, don’t say anything at all”. Downvoting was a way for people to be bullied.
Downvotes were spammed. Users who disagreed with a single statement would go on a downvote rampage. Please file their use as an example of "here's why we can't have nice things."
Depends on your platform. If the Steam (PC) version does as it has been doing in previous releases so far, it will unlock at around 18:00 CEST (maybe a few minutes before that). Pre-order is available right now.
They said the time on the stream today, but I can't remember. I think it is at 0:00 but can't remember the time zone.
Can confirm. The way I heard it, the release time is 12:00 AM (00:00) locally for consoles and around 6:00 PM (18:00) UTC for PC. If I heard those times wrong, someone please correct me.
Locally means that, regardless of where you live, whenever 12:00 AM midnight rolls around for YOU, the game will unlock for purchase and download. Edit - The other possibility could be that "locally" might also mean 12:00 AM British time, but they just forgot to clarify that specific detail because they're based in the U.K.
I don't know for console, but for PC it is 16:00 UTC - 17:00 BST - 18:00 CEST. That is the time Steam is gonna say, but experience says you usually can start playing a little bit earlier.
