PlayStation Release Time Confusion

So im a tad bit repetitive with commonly asked questions, sorry in advance about that but here it is:
Im confused about the release time of tsw 2, i live in the east coast of the usa in case anyone needs that and im hearing depending on where our timezone is itll be released at midnight on consoles, meaning 12 am on the 20th or 12 am on the 21st? (sorry if its a bit dumb but im just utterly confused)

 

Releasing midnight on the 20th for consoles. Worst case scenario is you get it towards the tail end of the day. Hopefully there aren't going to be any day one release hiccups.

 

So, I would expect it at the start of the day on the 20th, 00.01 hrs, and not the end of the day on the 20th, 23.59 hrs.

Hi, so I’m also in the eastern time zone. I will say they have said a midnight release before but it didn’t actually go on sale until the PSN store is updated around 11:00am. Hope this helps!

Im doing an all nighter for the release but i hope its released at midnight lol

 

We don't control the release time, it's entirely dependent on when the stores update. So, whatever time your store normally updates is when you should expect the game to be available.

 

The release date isn't bad to be fair

 

Yeah midnight isn't so bad you have all day to download the game

 

On my way home from work, with an ETA of midnight so it could work out perfectly

By the way, if you live on the United States east coast and play on the PS4, for whatever reason they update at noon instead of midnight. This has usually been the case with past TSW DLCs. I'm not sure if any other region is like that
