This is the “Do you want to end this session” pop-up. It defaults to ‘Yes’, so being in the process of uncoupling a wagon with the X button or equivalent when it pops up ends your session. It needs to default to ‘No’ so you need more than the button you were pressing to uncouple some wagons at the time it popped up to actually leave the session. If it defaulted to No, then it popping up when you’re actually doing something else with the X button (PS4) or it’s equivalent on other platforms, would just lead to the pop-up disappearing, instead of ending a session you had been in for 2 hours* I can’t believe this long term design flaw made it across to TSW2. It’s a session ending bug. *btw this very nearly caught me out twice in one SPG session today but it has caught me out a few times before in TSW2020. Had I not just been very lucky this time my 2 hour session would have ended early due to this. I would not have been happy.
I agree, just as it was in TSW, doing any work that requires you to be out of the driver’s seat especially when you have put time into whatever your doing. It’s literally scary knowing that you could be pressing X to open a door or couple a wagon and that one button press can ruin your entire time. I agree this needs to be addressed.
