Out of all the videos I’ve watched I have not seen any of those issues. Sorry you feel like garbage and I hope it works out for you!
Although on an xbox one I have found the experience quite good stable frames ect yeah I have missing passengers but not surprised as my xbox is the 500gb which was the first lot to come out
53:59. And is full of those things. If you think is normal, or acceptable, well, we have a different opinion about quality.
What you need to understand is, that a game will NEVER be perfectly working at the beginning. Maybe that goes for some games from some top-class studios, but even FIFA is not complete until some updates after launch. Just give them a factual, serious feedback and have some trust, that the issue is being handled at time. As Sam stated repeatedly, the core team is dealing with preserved collection, but as soon as they are free, the core issues will be dealt with. I wasn't able to start the game, since I will be at work 'til afternoon, but I'm sure, most of the route is clearly visible as it was no different in the stream on Tuesday.
Having played a bit on Xbox (and have created a post detailing what I've noticed) I haven't experienced any lag or FPS drops. I think if you go into TSW2 under the impression it's a brand new game, you'll be disappointed. If you go in thinking of it as three new routes for TSW2020 alongside a few changes, then your expectation will be met.
I don't know if it's better on Xbox, but on PS4 is even worse than TSW2020. Take a look at the link I posted. That's what I'm talking about. The only acceptable route is the american one, 'cause is just a remaster. The new ones run worse than any other TSW2020 route (no, LIRR is very bad), in terms of performances.
The frame rate seems fine for me on the Xbox 1 S Sand patch is running fine I notice a bit longer freight trains
I'm running it on a PS4 Pro and I get very minor stutters around one or two stations on the overground stations on the Bakerloo line but nothing major otherwise it runs very well for me.
I have play the few hours of train Sim world 2 and have experienced no problems and I was usually skeptical myself but after playing for a few hours and getting the kind of know the game and I wear round it was totally worth it I completely now understand why they made the second game sounds great looks great play great what can I say don't tell has really proved me wrong this time in fact I m kind loving the game I haven't really experienced any bugs I mean I'm sure they're up there just an FYI
Well, I give up. If those half a second freezings on the overground section of Bakerloo line are normal, I don't know what to say. They're so much noticeable in the stream I posted. I have a regular PS4 but there are no difference compared to Matt's PS4 Pro.
I mean in all fairness I 100% understand your point however nowadays nothing ever launched perfect and I'm sure with patched to you won't even notice it anymore
I wrote that EVERY SINGLE STUTTERING, FPS DROPS, etc. I noticed on my PS4 was there in Matt's stream. So is not my system. It's the game. And if you guys think this game runs smooth, well, you never played a game that runs smooth.
Just played Ice and Rain scenario - 250kmh with sleet, smooth as butter for me. I like the way the rain/sleet noise hitting your windscreen disappears and comes back when you go under a tunnel or bridge, very realistic!
I have been playing TSW2 on my PS4 Pro since yesterday in 4K mode. I’ve had a chance to check out all of the new routes and Peninsula corridor. I not only had no problem with frame rates or graphics, but I find it to be much better in every aspect compared to how TSW ran.
My PS4 Pro fan sounds like a hovercraft. Much more so than other graphically intensive games I play, wonder if it's an issue with the new Unreal version?
My pro runs normal haven't experience the fans going crazy so far. Also despite minor stutters in the game its still overall pretty good. I have other games with worse FPS issues then train sim but i deal with it. But if the game minor issues bother folks that much then move on and play other games and you won't be stressed or irritated. I play Division 2 and man let me say this! Some parts the FPS get so bad the game pauses for a good 5 seconds so lets enjoy the trains instead of doing so much bashing as if its the worst game in the world.
I have not had a problem with my PS4 pro fans and I was running TSW2 all day yesterday. Although I did make sure I vacuumed out all of the dust so it could vent properly just the other day because it does happen to me for some games.
Just did a scenario on SPG everything was fine I mean I noticed freight trains are longer which took some of my FPS but all was okay
I’m really happy with what they did with sky. Things like that make such a big difference when driving a route. I love it!
My experience has been much different. TSW2 in 4k on my Xbox 1 X is getting better performance than TSW2020 in 1080p did. Frame rate is smooth, and the "hitching" that used to occur every time an AI train approached is gone. This is on the new routes as well as preserved. Draw distance and lighting seem better as well, and of course the increased resolution really makes an improvement. My only graphics issues are some pop-in on distant mountains on SPG, but don't know how that compares to TSW2020, since that route wasn't on console.
WTF? How can you tell this game is smooth as silk?? F1 2020 is smooth as silk, locked at 60 fps. The overground part of Bakerloo Line in unacceptable and I saw fps drops and micro-pauses in EVERY stream on YouTube, on PS4 and Xbox. You can say that doesn't bother you, but this game is definitely not smooth as silk. Take a look at the overground part of the scenery in the link I posted. Christ, it stops for half a second approaching a station, and it does it several times.
Hard to enjoy the German high speed service when it keeps freezing literally every few secs. I'm returning.
Ildario77, have you experienced these freezes yourself? Didn't Matt say he had some issues with his capture card though?
On PSN I think you can download a game and get a refund up to 14 days only IF you don't launch the game. Defeats the object a bit of the refund system I know, but there you go.
Yes, exactly in the same places. It's not a capture card issue. I already watched other videos on YouTube from different users and all of them show the same issues in the same places, even on different consoles (PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox), Bakerloo or german high speed. It's a loading issue and I'm frankly doubtful you don't have it.
I haven't seen it, or at least haven't noticed it on the ICE. I plan on doing some Bakerloo tomorrow morning and will see what happens.
For those with performance problems on console, a powercycle mostly helps: For PS4: You hold the power button on the PS4 until it beeps twice. When the system is completely off, unplug the power cable and then plug it back in. Restart your console and you should be good to go.
I'm wondering if a lot of those stuttering issues I'm reading about can be resolved by reorganizing the PS4 database (defrag). Particularly if there has been a lot of uninstalls/installs. I found an article addressing these points... The following are reasons you might consider a rebuild of your PS4 database. Slow in-game loading times PS4 disc drive issues (not reading a disc) Sluggish menu navigations Stuttering during gameplay and cutscenes Full article here
Nah, I tried everything also on TSW 2020. It's the game, not the console. Otherwise these problems wouldn't occur always at the same point for everybody (and I watched tons of videos on YouTube from different users). Just tried a service from Harrow and Wealdstone... Well, a lot of stuttering, but between Wembley Central and Stonebridge Park is simply awful. Can't believe some of you think this LOVE is ok.
well because it's not happening to me & do you have the video you claim to have seen with the lag on the xbox & I believe you have this problem but other people don't
After spending some more time today on Sandpatch on my PS4 Pro in 4k mode, I was pulling 52 coal wagons and passed a long AI freight train. My frame rate was smooth and graphically it looks fantastic. I hope you have tried to reset your PS4 as some have suggested, good luck!
I’m noticing that my PS4 fan is very very active and it’s getting very hot. A few crashes with the livery editor. But nothing too bad to be honest. Maybe a few lags in snow etc, but I’m not fussed about that. Game is alright. Some flaws need to be ironed out, not liking some of the new controls, but never mind. I can still play in Classic mode.
