I've noticed what I think is an issue with adhesion in wet weather on the Bakerloo line. In the dry both in the tunnels or outside I can use notch three when powering away from a station with no wheel slip (make sense as it's dry). If I do the same with rain on i'll wheel slip at around 5mph and are required to use no more than notch 2 until more grip is gained. This issue happens whether I'm outside or in the tunnels, surely in the tunnels it should be able to pull away in notch 3 as we're out of the rain and in the dry..? The only time I can accept wheel slip might happen underground is the first station or so after leaving the surface where it could still be damp/wet but further underground at Baker Street? No, it should not happen.
Is this what the ‘rate switch’ is used for on LU? I’m sure someone else can confirm. Wouldn’t expect it in the tunnels though but might be worth reporting it as a bug just in case..
The rate switch is used for that reason but like you said, shouldn’t expect it in the Underground sections.
