This poll is to test if these kind of polls can offer new information on what the community wants to be added into the game in the future. I have put in the 10 most recent proposals for UK locomotives from the Loco Suggestions board into the poll, you can choose the 3 that you would most want to be made into an addon. Be sure to read through the suggestions on the Loco Suggestions board before making a choice. Thanks for participating.
Edit: I forgot that Armstrong Powerhouse has made the Class 150-2 already. If you would like to buy it, you can find it here: https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com...e_unit2/class_150-2_diesel_multiple_unit_pack

The BR Standard Class 8 would be better with its name (Duke of Gloucester) as that's how many people know it. I had to think a bit about what you were referring to.

Thanks for the info, i had forgotten that it was called Duke of Gloucester (being a stupid american) I wrote Standard Class 8 as that was the title of the proposal in the Loco Suggestions board for people who wanted to read it.

IIRC JustTrains did the Duke of Gloucester.

It wasn't Just Trains, it was Iron House House, who ceased trading a few years ago. DTG bought all their models so they have it sitting in a software vault. It will need a bit of updating, but most of the work is already done.

Now we just need DTG to see that there is demand for this.

I think Digital Traction already do a GWR wagon pack. You need to be more specific about rolling stock. Coaches? Wagons? Cranes?

I said in the description that people should go to the loco suggestions board and read the posts that they might want to vote for in the poll. Thanks for telling me about Digital Traction, I should check out their GWR pack and may link it for people who want to get it. If you would like to read the original suggestion: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/gwr-rolling-stock-pack.23826/ Thanks for the feedback about being more specific!
Also, is this the pack you are talking about? http://digitaltraction.co.uk/mainsite/products/gwr-1930s-b-set-siphon/

Digital Traction also do this wagon pack: http://digitaltraction.co.uk/mainsite/products/great-western-wagon-pack-1/

But you need to be careful as there were two GWRs in British railway history. The first Great Western Railway was the railway of Brunel, green steam locos, chocolate and cream coaches and happy memories of travel to holidays in the SW of England. It ended in 1948. It's this company that most rail fans will associate with GWR. There's also the modern train operating company called GWR, that has no connection with the previous GWR, except for operating on the lines it predecessor built. It didn't take the name GWR until 2015.

I assume you're talking about the modern GWR.

The modern GWR is a passenger train operator and doesn't transport freight so wouldn't have it's own wagons, unless it has a handful of internal user wagons. I think the OP would have been thinking of the historic GWR.

No, he's definitely talking about the modern train operator. See his link in post #14 (https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/gwr-rolling-stock-pack.23826/). I think he needs to revise his poll to make this clear, because like you I think most UK rail fans will associate GWR with the historic company.

Ok i didn't think that people would mostly think i was talking about the historic GWR. The original proposal was for modern GWR stock and it was not made clear in the poll. Thanks for the help!

haha! yeah I think that will be the case. It will be very important if these polls turn out to offer useful information for the community and the feedback is useful for making my future polls better.
