No on the 800 for me, as its not set in the right time frame. The infrastructure was not completed at the time GWE is set, so they should not run imo. It would need to be re-made in the correct time period for me.
Relating to the Poll that was put up, I personally don’t like the 800s, but they are popular amongst others. Although that is my personal opinion. If they were to be added, I would have suggested that they would be added to another GWR Route. For example: The route I would suggest they run on would be the Cornish Mainline from Penzance to Plymouth including branchlines. This route has so many picturesque views and challenging gradients along with a range of opportunities for DLC. The starting content I would choose would be a Colas Class 70 GWR Class 150 and a Cross Country HST. The DLC that could be added could be a Class 802 a Class 57 with MK3 Sleepers and Day Coaches and a DB Class 59 or Class 66 (with an upgraded horn!) It would mean that they would stay with the correct time period and they could make some more money as well as bringing in a new crowd for the Cornish Mainline and the 800. The route often has Railtours down to Penzance, and it has some unique freight like the China Clay services from Fowey. For example in the photo below, a Western (Class 52) is hauling some Mk1 coaches on the Cornishman Railtour. All of which we have in TSW already. So I would suggest that the Class 800s shouldn’t be added to GWE because it isn’t set at the correct time period and there are some noticeable changes since the route was released. Now for a list of trains I would like (and the corresponding routes including those which haven’t been added): DSB Class MZ (Aalborg to Aarhus Route in Denmark) DSB IC3 (Aalborg to Aarhus Route in Denmark) DSB Class MY (Aalborg to Aarhus Route in Denmark) Nordjyske Jernbaner Desiro DMU (Aalborg to Aarhus Route in Denmark) BR Class 57 (Penzance to Plymouth with Branchlines in England) BR Class 455 (London Victoria to Brighton including Keymer Junction to Lewes in England) BR Class 73 (London Victoria to Brighton including Keymer Junction to Lewes in England) Siemens Class 700 (London Victoria to Brighton including Keymer Junction to Lewes in England) Siemens Class 450 (London Waterloo to Southampton in England) Siemens Class 444 (London Waterloo to Southampton in England) DB BR Class 218 (Hamburg to Hanover including Maschen Yard and Moorsburg Docks in Germany)
We agree that this needs to be done, but youre forgetting a 158 which is essentiel as well, that's more common than the class 57, 59 and 70.
