There are 10 trophies/achievements for the Isle of Wight route from Rivet Games. The full list can be found here: https://www.exophase.com/game/train-sim-world-2-steam/achievements/
Looks okay imho, I'm just wondering how the trophies will be named in German. Some (intended) puns probably will get lost during translation, as it was in other cases. When I first saw the title of the thread, I was puzzled what "low" trophies would be, but then I recalled that the first letter is always capitalised. It just looks like a small L
I was half expecting an 'Operate the class 483 for 483 miles' trophy but that might have been a step too far needing to do about 60 lengths of the line.
Yeah, I wouldn't think so either. But that's the only reason that I could think of why they wouldn't do that traditional mileage trophy.
The track layout allows 3tph at 20 minute intervals using three trains. In recent times, the service has been run using two trains which gives 2tph at 20 and 40 minute intervals. I think I recall in the early 1990s, when all nine of the class 483 were in service, that in the summer months the service was run with 3tph but I don't know when that stopped. This would have become more and more difficult as the number of serviceable units slowly reduced to the three today. So it would be interesting to see what service pattern they have gone for considering the trains are in NSE livery.
The trains did operate at 3 per hour at 20 minute intervals, but I think a change on the line limited the passing points so service was reduced to 2 per hour at 20 and then 40 minute intervals. The route looks to be set a while back so as Northerner has said, it depends what Rivet has gone with.
but the 166 has over 200 services on a 35 mile route, the 483 will probably have 40-50 on an 8 mile route
What do people think the timetable services will be like? Will they be purely services from Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head and Vice Versa?
The vast majority of services run the full length of the line but there are a couple services that just run from St John's Depot to Ryde in the morning and back again at night. Here's a timetable from 2019 although of course the trains are in the early 90s NSE livery so this probably won't be exactly the same but it should be a good guide.
Looks like IOW has been added to the trophy list for TSW2 after yesterday’s patch however only 4 of those achievements are showing on the PS4 list. IOW: Island Gold Complete 20 Services. IOW: Pack Rat Complete all route tasks IOW: On the Wight Track Complete all scenarios CL483: Going the Extra Mile Operate the Class 483 for 60 miles
I suppose other than the ones they’ve included there isn’t an awful lot more to do. 4 is quite a nice number for me.
I’ve asked in the tech report forum. The list posted earlier in this thread makes more sense. Can’t remember a DLC where we haven’t had a trophy for not completing the loco tutorial
ehz0689 they came in the patch on Tuesday so should be there but as mentioned above, there are only 4 out of 10 listed. On your playstation, look in the trophies for Set 2 and that's where they should be
This is something we don't know. Rivet and Natalie confirmed that the route needs a core update for them to appear. No timeline though
Imagine the next update will be Wednesday the 21st of Oct for the next DLC. Will it be patched this quick, doubt it but would be nice. 20 miles as a passenger might be a drag let’s hope 1.09 release sorts the graphics out too.
