    How do I gain traction in a GP38-2 manifest going up 0.6% grade I am starting in rockwood

    In this way. Brake cut set on freight. Authomatic brakes relesed. Indipendent brake full service. Apply power (up to 2 or 3 steps) when you see that the locomotive get power (amps on the desk) slowly release the indipendent brake until bail off. Now you need to wait that the tractive effort of the locomotive increase. After a bit the train will start to move very slowly as soon as you reach 0.5 miles of speed increase the power step of just one (from 2 to 3 for exemple) than the train start to move. This way is the same with every type of locomotive in the world. Remember, the indipendet brake works only on the locomotive where you are and you need it to block the train until the locos get power

    I figured out how I had to turn off the engine run off control off and radio off
