Plenty of movement up the list. I like the little explanation text at the start of the roadmap articles, it adds context to what’s going on in general before the list gets down to detail. I think that is an important part of these updates.

Oh my word. Thats alot of movement, especially since everything from the preserved collection, other than DB BR 204 has moved to upcoming. So with us sooner rather than later. Along with some routes now moving into production this is looking very promising.

Looks great! I like alot of the fixes and improvements and hope these will go a little bit faster when preserved collection will be done.
By the way, great to see the remaining preserved routes move up!

And finally, who would have thought that München Augsburg would move up already as well?

Welp, from the roadmap. The good news, both Cane Creek and CRR moved up to the production stage. The bad news, nothing has been changed on locos from the both of them. This is not gonna go well later on. But, should still be interesting to see.

Genuinely curious how much effort it takes to update the old game with the cement circle fix?

You fixed it. You ticked it off. Could you not then ensure it works on the previous game so that people that don’t have TSW2 and buy the Class 31 DLC can ACTUALLY PLAY IT in full?

So disappointed that you guys announced TSW2 and abandoned the previous game without at least patching the last few GLARING issues (CC and Miles Platting) before waving it goodbye.

Good afternoon, I've already asked my question in previous roadmap update thread but unfortunately I didn't receive any answer. So, my question about planned Clinchfield railroad. This road in TS expands from Elkhorn to St Paul but in TSW you are going to cut it only to Dante. Why? Can you release full length of this road like in TS? If not, please, explain your decision and give us appropriate feedback

what do you think of dangerous situations?
Add dangerous situations where driver has to use emergency brake, derailment, crash, railroad track invasion?

This will never happen. You’re playing the wrong sort of game for this. TSW does not allow for accidents, derailments or crashes as it is a simulator.

Try playing BeamNG drive if you want the above.

I think the only thing blocking them is licensing & such from creating bad situations

Great news! Thanks for the update and all the hard work involved to move things along!

Appreciate the legend (but would have been helpful to understand it at the start of the list, rather than getting to the end and discovering what the star meant).

I reckon this is partly why they’ve made it hard to walk around in the tunnels on the tube. I don’t think LU want games to give people ideas, despite the warnings when you load up the game.

I think it is also because there are some very strange places where you can end up stuck in a large cylindrical world with no way out...

It is absolutely not beautiful, however the metro has only 1 model of the train, a real shame because other existing and new models are needed.
But why didn't you include them and you will make me pay 13 euros?

Yet we still have no real info or gameplay yet. Only screenshots. Will Rivet showcase gameplay or Dovetail?

They probably won't be able to do some of this because of licensing and that the game is rated 'E'

As they say, it is also true will and power if people want it is possible to retract, change licenses

There must be a willingness to change the licenses. It is absolutely possible

What are you trying to say? He just said that they will start talking about other routes when they are ready. When they start talking about the routes and showing gameplay, you'll be able to see the flaws. Until then, wait. Now, if you're trying to say that they are holding onto this info for too long when a route is soon to be released, I definitely agree.

And as I said before I don't want things like GTA, but by virtue of the training.
In Italy, if you have a car license, they will explain how to behave in the event of an accident and train you.
Even some simulators show the accident to understand where you went wrong.

Preventing dovetailgames from having dangerous situations is a pretty big censorship, and you don't learn, you just don't learn.

The example, which can be done is that of the school, we take away the lessons of sexology so boys do not know anything about how women are made or women how boys are made.
Doing something like this in 2020 is like going back to the 1930s.

I repeat they could give permissions could be done by virtue of knowledge, training and teaching, and prevention.

This is precisely why the VIA Rail P42DC was removed from the RailWorks DLC.

That's only if the operators/train manufacturers want to allow that. And they probably don't want to allow that because they feel like it can show potential problems with the train. It probably wouldn't be possible for DTG to add 'fatal' or heavily destructive accidents while keeping the current rating as ESRB might take that as violence.

however, it must all be in the educational teaching context.

People who then have a health index or a satisfaction index ...

Passengers have health indices and satisfaction indices.
Health = depends on hot cold temperature, air conditioning or heating systems in the train.
    Satisfaction = punctuality, abrupt braking

I mean I expected it with Cane Creek, but still sucks that the Clinchfield still has an SD40-2 instead of an SD40.....

Just hope that Cane Creeks AC44s are modeled after UPs ones and not just a reskin of CSXs AC44s

LordDistructorss91 crashes/derailments are never gonna happen. This argument goes all the way back to the MSTS days, and license-holders will not permit it, full stop.

Regarding a "passenger satisfaction index", that's kind of interesting, and theoretically could be incorporated into the much-needed overhaul of the passenger system. Personally, though, i'd rather they focus on just having them look and behave appropriately before adding a whole new layer of functionality.

The update says that AFB on 185 was fixed. Just tried the "Heavy Metal" on RSN and it is still way overshooting... Brought me nearly to stop when limit was set to 40 km/hr...

I can confirm, The AFB on 185.2 only knows "no breaks" or "full brakes" but nothing between, except the difference is smaller than 5 km/h or going downhill. Even a difference above 5 km/h is a full brake for the AFB no smooth breaking like the TSW2020 185.2 :|

Tested the 185.2 AFB at a timetable run from Finnentrop to Hagen.
    100 to 80 km/h
    80 to 70 km/h
    80 to 40 km/h
    100 to 30 km/h
    80 to 10 km/h
    70 to 25 km/h

Works fine. The main problem seems to be fixed. (edit: PS4)
But i can't say anything about smooth braking.

And still the BR 101 is in planning for Köln-Aachen. Although the BR 101 does not run on that line. :(
