Hi everyone, Having started playing TSW around the time of the MSB release I had a good selection of variety of past routes to drive and explore for the first time. Bring as TSW2 launched with 3 routes and is getting regular updates that add the Preserved collection routes, we will soon have the variety from TSW in TSW2 with the additional 3 TSW2 routes. With the very much unique Isle of Wight route receiving it’s finishing touches we will soon be driving out of pier head over the ocean which is definitely a first time for TSW2. With the variety of routes and locomotives on the roadmap from DTG, and other 3rd party developers we are looking at some of the most amazing content to ever come to the TSW franchise. As we start getting more locomotives we will see routes across TSW2 start being much more populated. We will have a wide variety of choices that will please everyone whether you enjoy Passenger, Freight, or switching and everything in between. I’m very excited to see what TSW2 looks like in a year. I think DTG have done a great job with communication and the regular updates to roadmap and the game I’m sure hasn’t been easy, especially during Covid-19 but it’s been reassuring that in 6 months-1 year we will have a great experience. Hope everyone is excited to experience Isle of Wight soon! As it’s the first TSW2 dlc and the first route from the highly respected Rivet Games. This is just the beginning!
I definitely agree, the future of TSW looks great and it genuinely seems like a good selection of routes is being built up. I suppose this is partly due to the release of the Roadmap which allows us to see what's coming so it seems like we've got a lot more content. Although to me at least, it does seem that DTG have started increase the number of releases. I'm looking forward to the upcoming British content and am likely to buy all of it. I have noticed that some people are complaining about the lack of variety in modern British content, which although they have a point about all modern British routes being in London and South East, it doesn't personally bother me despite me not living in that area.
It all looks promising, but you may wonder what the content should be. I dream of a greater emphasis on enriching the already existing routes
The op should be ended with the word "Amen" ... it's nothing but a glorification of TSW2 disregarding all those hundreds of glitches, bugs and other shortcomings. Sorry to say, but this praise is in one word - disgusting. No offence meant.
I agree, I will definitely like to see traffic on the Preserved collection and on the new TSW2 routes up to par with TSW once the entire preserved collection. Although small the addition of the adhesion physics on the class 377 on ECW is the start in the right direction.
