I Hope the DB BR 182 From Rapid Transit will have the Option to use the Dostos in the Scenario Planner. I know this is a silly question because why should they Not have the Dostos but after 4 Routes with only fright Services i am a little concern. (Sorry for the Bad english)
I hope to see the 182 also with Intercity (not dostos) coaches. And swap loco with the 101 and the 103 DB.
DB BR 182 operates with DB but besides S Bahn services, the also run passenger services on Regional services with Dostos as well...all i know is the event that the normal talent 2 breaks down on RB48, they use a DB BR 182 to make up for it.
So, in case the BR 101 DB or BR 120 DB breaks in the game we could replace them with the BR 182 DB (or ES64 U2, loco with 230km/h of max designed speed). Railjet and ÖBB for their IC and EC services both use the ES64 U4 (BR 183 DB / ÖBB 1216 which ports, pantographs and exquisitely technical details aside, including the melodic-scale sound, is pretty similar to the 182 DB / ES64 U2). ES64 U4 (183 DB, 1216 ÖBB): https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siemens_ES64U4 ES64 U2 (182 DB, 1116 ÖBB): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EuroSprinter
I'm disappointed. In the stream they said that you can only have the 182 if you use the Dostos control car and not the other way around
In which sense? We can't drive a Regional like on Rapid Transit (driven by the loco cab, I mean) or a freight train on RSN, HRR and MSB like happen in TSW1? Off course I hope in future they add Intercity services/coaches but at the moment we got only dosto and freight cars for the BR 182 DB. Note: the BR 182 DB is related to Rapid Transit Dlc, like the Class 31 with Tees Valley Line or the M3 to Long Island Rail Road.
I wanted to create a passenger scenario with the 182 on the other German Routes. Unfortunately, it makes little difference whether the 146 or 182 is attached to a Dostos control car. You control the control car.
Probably I don't understood. Anyway in both the case the max permitted speed is 160km/h cause we have not LZB feature on Preserved Collection trains and also cause Dosto Regio-wagons technically cant run over the 160km/h
I’m hoping that with the Class 101, the IC coaches will be used with the MRCE Class 182 (which I am hoping has LZB) this would allow us to use them for the IC services on Köln - Aachen at over 160km.
If I understood it correctly in the stream, you cannot use the 182 yourself for Passangers. The 182 is only available when it is attached to the Dostos. (Driver sits in the Dostos control car)
I would to know why they will release a "copy" of BR 182 (MRCE version) and lose the chance to add the BR 183 who works exactly like the 182 for passengers and freight services! With the Livery Editor we will can built the BR 182 MRCE in max 10 minutes, not more.
Now I understand! You mean, in Scenario Planner we can build only BR182 Regional driven exclusively by the Dosto cab-car, and not from the loco. Nice fix!
Ahahha I was the guy that asked the 182 question... "yOu CaN't ExPecT TsW DlC tO bE TSW2 qUaLiTy"... of course but the new 182 which will come with the Ham-Lub is surely recreated again from scratch so it comes at full price just for TSW2...
Those were my thoughts. I’m hoping that they could add an LZB feature to the Hamburg-Lübeck version purely because the 182 is used for both passenger and freight and it would be a good addition to SKA if they could go above 160kmh.
LZB is used also under the 160km/h and on freight trains. Like in this example with the BR 146 DB. (LZB section start at about minute 19:50, when you see the blue button lights up on desk) All our German preserved collection already equip the LZB "tools" but they has not LZB feature/upgrade, cause preserved. Note: Talent 2, also in real life, has not LZB. Source: Maik Goltz. post -> https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/köln-aachen-stream-notes.24827/
Great, I can now download RapidTransit and guess what I found in the Scenario Planner or what I had NOT found. Do you want to guess? Right the DB BR 182
The same. Hope they add the BR 182 on SKA as alternative loco for RE services (143, 146 and 182) on timetable too. On roadmap there is something about the BR 182 (update) but I dont know what exactly they mean with "train formation option". Or maybe DTG plan is to use (new) MRCE BR 182 DB with LZB feature on SKA too. We will see.
If they do have the LZB with the new MRCE 1182, let’s hope that it can run with the IC coaches from the 101 DLC that’s coming to SKA. although it’s unlikely considering that they said they couldn’t mix DLCs.
