We are aware of issues with the Rapid Transit preserved collection download some people are experiencing on console. This is already being investigated, we will update you when we have more information, thank you for your patience. You can’t make this constant LOVE up tbh
This is the 'advantage' of the new transparency policy - they are not hiding anything... meh In sociology, admitting guilt is an effective method of concluding a discussion. Of course, not everyone will fall for it. I will add from myself: the concept of "premieres first (preserved), repairs later" I don't like very much, but I regret it with pain
PlayStation and Xbox have the issues with Rapid Transit. They've got a lot on their plate. I hope everything gets sorted by the weekend.
Different licensing methods across bundles and packages have been causing issues, as have players using time zone mechanics to get around certain restrictions. So yes, you could make this up.
That’s one thing I’m noticing about DTG, they like to rush things out without polish (not specifically talking about this issue with RT) and then try (or not) to fix the bugs later. This is why I think it’s taking a while for Rivet to release the Isle Of Wight DLC, so they can iron out the bugs, make it interesting, and probably add a hint to their next route/a new feature. It would be hilarious if they can do it better than DTG. I would never stop laughing.
The problems mainly concern Preserved content and "remastered" SPG old bugs. DTG was a bit lacking consistency. Not everyone is following the weekly streams and is up to date with current doctrine. The roadmap lacks a general explanation of 'why'. Why this, not another order? The DTG could cut off all these unnecessary discussions, but not - as Samo1 pointed out - this way. This compliance, if honest, is not enough. Some sincere announcement would be useful - admit officially, the conversion at this stage is not successful (preserved stuff). OK, we have our old toys for free, but is it ethical to sell them like this now? Perhaps write in the description of products in the store - early access / alpha / beta, preferably with a discount. I repeat it everywhere: I am happy, but I understand a little bit of resentment in some, because it turned out badly, although I believe in good intentions on the DTG side.
It’s unfortunate there are more problems with the new preserved collection release, but I’m sure it’ll get fixed ASAP.
"As soon as possible" is indeed not very precise and it's rather wishful thinking if you ask me. Just don't expect bug fixes to work at the first attempt and don't expect them to appear really soon!
I could say the same about all the negative threads you have made, as this surely isn’t constructive. If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all. Something didn’t go to plan and they expressed that to us. If you don’t like how DTG do things I suggest maybe finding another simulator you do enjoy.
Please can we keep things polite with one another in here, don't forget you are all entitled to a difference of opinion, and there is nothing wrong with voicing criticism when you are disappointed. Samo1 I have removed your message as it was unnecessary.
