My first forum thread! I've been observing the Weardale & Teesdale Route Add-On, and I've been noticing a lack of suitable rolling stock from the LNER era. Weardale & Teesdale is mostly branch lines and secondary routes, and the only main line I see is from Darlington to Durham. So I made this thread to tell you my ideas of suitable rolling stock not just from the LNER era, but also the pre-grouping era. If you wish to do your own locomotives: I suggest this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locomotives_of_the_North_Eastern_Railway
Not quite NER, but of the same era and worked into Barnard Castle and Darlington... https://www.facebook.com/SteamSound...36529.147804742037949/943643979120684/?type=3
We're currently working on the Raven LNER Q6 (NER T2) and we have reference material for the J21 at a future date. http://victoryworksts.blogspot.co.uk/2018/01/raven-lner-q6-colour-pictures-ner.html Weardale is a fantastic network and definitely needs more engines to run on it.
I think there's a good opportunity for a mutually beneficial collaboration between DTG, or some other developer, and the G5 Locomotive Company (www.g5locomotive.co.uk- usual disclaimer, based in Shildon very appropriately). I was there a few weeks ago and know for a fact there's some interest in the idea.
Some more native traction for W&T?! BRING IT ON! How about some Stockton and Darlington Locos for those who really like the pre-grouping scene!
