After watching the stream from September 29th, I was amazed to hear the remarks regarding the future of preserved collection and its eventual addition to the livery designer. We were told pre launch, that preserved collection would not be included in scenario planner or livery designer but after the initial change of heart of the former, it seems that we will now eventually get to toy with painting our older collection. Personally I cannot wait to work on a Class 33 and a 52. Beyond these i have various other ideas forming for future liveries. I'd love to hear some of your ideas.

I'd like to repaint the 101 in its refurbishment livery with all over white and blue stripe and probably some of its many other liveries shown here.
I'd also like to see the 66 in GBRF livery as it's the one I see most on the class 66s round here in real life.

My starting list (hold on to your hats!):
    1. Gatwick Express livery Class 377 posing as a Class 387
    2. GBRf Class 66
    3. XCountry HST and 125 HST
    4. BR Blue Class 33, Class 52, Class 20 and Class 37
    5. Metronom Class 146 and Dostos
    6. Hector Rail Class 182
    7. DB Eco Cargo Class 185
    8. BR Blue MK1s and BR Green MK1s
    9. Intercity MK2s
    10. WCRC Class 33, Class 47 and Class 37
The list goes on and on for me... also can’t wait for the DB Class 101 and IC coaches as I would repaint one into Black and one into Gold.

I think the main aspect that requires addition to the Livery designer is that there needs to be selective numbering system. Such as having a specific number for your unit. Such as having a Class 33 and numbering it “33101” instead of a random number. But the numbering should be completely custom. So I could number this same Class 33 “102930” as a random example. It would add character and personality to your designs.

This is a superb idea which would work well with a text box for uniform numbering/lettering.

Yes. Great suggestion. I think that what would be good is to be able to choose whether to add a layer over the original number like you get on Word documents where it is layered Infront of Text and Behind Text. This then allows you to keep the random numbering system, or for you to create your own.
