I got used to the new immersion controls and im loving it. But i want free cam added onto it. We press r3 to use outside cam from the front and then press and hold r3 to have a view from the back. So for free cam, can DTG make that we press and hold r3 from inside the cab, cuz it has no use yet.

This would be great as the free cam is my most used external camera, I'd also like the headout views available from the immersion controls as well. Then I could use immersion instead of classic controls as immersion's much better for door control. It'd also be nice if they'd let us use cameras in tunnels again as I miss using free cam to watch my train emerge out of tunnels.

If you add a keyboard for as little as a couple of quid. You can have all those things plus more.

All these commands apart from zoom in/out and dynamic brake work alongside using the controller.
Using N and space bar gives the 2 tone horn. Plus to get free cam speed up with immersion controls use shift and up plus steer with Ps4 or xbox pad stick.

Could a TSW keymap be made?
I've been making a list whenever I discover a key but it's messy and doesn't seem to fully match the one printed in tsw2020's manual. There's also a lot of Ctrl+Something combos therewhich seem be useful but are listed nowhere.

How about looking into that annoying pop up that if you are wondering around minding your own business and it keeps popping up asking if we want to continue yes or no. Time and time again and far to frequent and a pain to say the least.

    ANY USB Keyboard will do.

I have a Trust Avonn Gaming LED Keyboard works fine no problems. You dont have to be extravogant as that but any USB Keyboard will do. from the cheap £5 to £50....

This is what I have. No issues at all. Havent had to change batteries in the 18 months Ive had it either.
By the way, this is where I got most of my Keyboard info.

Plus there are more really useful short cuts. Such as CTRL + toggling from cab to cab. If you find yourself out of a moving train, CTRL 0 gets you back in the driving seat. ( I imagine thats useful for fans of Collectables.)

I have made the same request for a free cam on a different post a while ago and have asked the question on at least 5 live streams but no one will answer it. I said that instead of having 2 fixed cams, which is pointless as you can easily move to the front or back of the train with either one, they should make one of them the free cam so we have access to both fixed and free cams, or use the unused R3 key as suggested here.
I really miss the free cam as the fixed cam has a very limited range and if DTG have gone through all the trouble of creating nice scenery they should give us the tools to go and look at it (without having to plug in a keyboard or resorting back to classic mode).
