The U3 is the oldest Underground Line in Hamburg and goes from Schlump to Barmbek/ Wandsbek Gartenstadt. A part of it was built in 1912. The circleline is in the centre and connects the Harbour with the the areas around the Alster. The line is 20,6 km (12,8 mi) long, has 26 stations, trains run every 5 minutes and a ride takes 45 minutes. It's not a typical underground line, because 75% of the route is overground and all stations between Landungsbrücken and Rödingsmarkt are 8 meters above the ground, directly next to a busy road with a great view of the Elbe. You can drive a fantastic train on this route: The old DT3, which isn`t in main service anymore but it would be amazing if we were aible to drive this train in Tsw!
Here are some pictures of the U3 ;)

Would be nice. I‘ve been on it multiple times during vacations and it‘s simply beautiful.
