I've seen many videos of where the DB BR 425 and the ICE 3 run in Heigenbrücken, but is that just an information or why matjamca wrote that? It's not bad, but I don't understand why you just write something like that.
Unfortunately I couldn't buy the HRR back then, but I'll save some money and then buy it because I really want to go to this rou
It looks pretty similar in the game. I've always only missed a little this ubiquitous autumn dirt and mud everywhere. Nice video.
i noticed on that video of heigenbrucken that there was no subways at the end of the platforms. the passegers just walked across the lines to the platforms. so DTG moddled heigenbrucken wrongly. one question did the ice trains do any stops along the line or was they just run straight through as an express from ashafenburg to gemunden
It was mentioned on stream that the passenger AI is unable to cope with crossing track, so they added subway for this purpose
I think it was Matt said on one of the streams that this was done due to the Passenger AI in the game, (probably that they couldnt stop passengers walking infront of a speeding train, although he didnt confirm that) so they built the subways for them.
In real-life, the ICE goes from Aschaffenburg to Würzburg. Since Würzburg isn't in the game, it would go straight from Aschaffenburg to Gemünden.
The ICE trains run from Aschaffenburg to Würzburg non stop. But ICEs leave the route shortly after Lohr and use the Highspeed connection to Würzburg. Not driving through Gemünden at all.
I really think that might have been the reason, but it's also a very bad decision to deliberately make the wrong station model because they were unable to adjust the game internals. And btw, on the Peninsula Corridor there are actually many such crossings for passengers.
True, but I don't recall ever seeing any passengers going over these crossings. The whole passenger system within TSW is in dire need of work since its pretty bare-bones at the moment. Theres been talks of updating the passengers sometime in the future, but that just remains as speculation for now. One could hope they implement passengers properly walking over crossings..
