How do you keep to the tight schedule, when the schedule has been set up wrong and is missing all arrival times? Left hand meet right hand...
I assume it was tested, but still made it into release. How it made it into release is beyond me. This release has dragged on for several months of teasers, yet somehow has massive obvious bugs in it
Maybe the service mode thing was intentional and they just didn't add times. I think the button thing with Playstation is due to a lack of testing specifically on that platform.
You think they test on console If it's fine on pc than its good. They apparently don't care for console.
If it was intentional not to have arrival times, the scores are set to low to achieve anything other than Bronze medals.
I have to say I’m getting an enjoyment out of this route that has been absent. They nail the atmosphere of this route perfectly and with the way they did the lighting I have actually enjoyed running a night service. This is also the first route that has me actively looking for collectibles that I usually don’t bother with and not having a time schedule to stick to has me enjoying this route much more and I can see why it was a design choice. I can still run a tight service if I would like but it’s nice to be able to enjoy the stations when I pull up. They did a great job overall even with the cab visuals bug on PS4 which Rivet Games released a great patch for their DB204 (which I expect that is Rivets baseline for quality out of their products) release so I’m not concerned as it really doesn’t hinder my driving experience at all. and I certainly can’t wait for their next route down the pipeline that will take us to the Arosa line in Switzerland.
How do you do the roof? I’ve done an all white livery, but would like the roof to be a grey black colour. Whatever I do, I can’t seem to get a shape to stretch the full length of each car. A video tutorial would be cool if you have a YouTube Channel.
I struggled too just in the front use some rounded shape and try to match the same color and for the door put some small square each time I know I’m LOVE at explaining properly I’ll try to show you some steps
You simply need to do a bit of tests with the editor (in other words: you must to do more practice). Generally, for parts like the roof or the doors I use more shapes (not just 1) to cover all the entire arch size. Also Projection function/tool it is a very powerful and helpful feature/tool. Like above, spent a bit of your free time to get a practice. That is an example. Doors, exactly like the roof need of multiple shapes to be covered with precision (If you like precision works), so, in both the case I used a big shape to cover the surfice and a tons of tiny shapes to work in details and cover (almost) perfectely all the door (or roof) arch surfice. @DTG_staff, Im sorry for my little off topic.
Jasper said on the stream that it was intentional to not have arrival times, so players didn't feel rushed on this route. The bronze medal issue was an inadvertent side-effect of not getting additional points for arriving on time. Personally, I think it's relaxing to have a laid-back route where we're not pressed for time. As for how Rivet will fix the bronze medal issue, that's not clear.
I’ve managed this now, but I’m getting some pixelation on the edges of the white shape I used near the roof. Is there a way to avoid this?
Glad to have this route in TSW2, especially now because of this: https://trn.trains.com/news/news-wi...ube-equipment-to-be-replaced-on-isle-of-wight
Unfortunately the route in the game is set in the 90’s. I would’ve liked to have the Class 484/D Stock as a DLC.
Yeah it’s set in the modern era but using an older livery due to licensing issues with the current livery.
