    It will
That is the point of off the rails mode
It allows you to drive any train on any route without logic getting in the way

Do you guys think Hamburg-lubeck might come with the BR-218 diesel as it does in ts2021?

Hamberg-lubeck is, I wouldn’t be surprise if the 218 followed quickly behind as DLC.

DTG Protagonist Just a quick note that in the description of how layers work on the roadmap update, the opening statement is the wrong way round. Existing routes add layers to new routes, not as stated here that new routes add layers to existing routes. The example given is correct though.

“For those who haven't encountered the layers concept previously, in essence new route or loco add-ons will add extra services to existing routes when they're added and where it makes sense. For example, Hauptstrecke Munich-Augsburg comes with 325 services by default, but if you also own Rhein-Ruhr Osten, Main-Spessart Bahn and Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr that number is increased to 427.”

It would be nice though if it worked both ways around and some of the stock in newer routes could add layers onto older ones. Now we have pretty much all the DLC moved over into TSW 2 maybe the preservation crew will look at backwards compatability of layers. Even if just substitute items.

As "preserved collection" DLC are added to TSW2, is it safe to delete the TSW versions to save disc space? I'm sure this was explained earlier, but given the inadequacy of the search engine I can't find the information.

But... Roadmap? :) Is this an official add-on?
    PC / Steam licensing = 100% safe

It’s an official Dlc for PC and Console like Rivet Games or Skyhood Games.
TSG makes also the DB BR 420.

it’s a fault by DTG to not include this on the roadmap because there is a issue with the third party contest to update

How many things are TSG making? Why aren’t they on the roadmap? That looks way beyond the In Planning stage. How do people find out about this? So many questions.

Same, imo if it is not on the roadmap, then it's not coming. Can anybody explain some more details or send the link to a post (?) where TSG have said that they are doing that? Or is this just a fake announcement triyng to ask for that to be built?

Oh well, that changes my thoughts. Still nothing on the website tho.

Apologies for being a bit rude two messages above, but I often see fake annoncements from people that want a specific train (e.g. people that say 'BR 999 coming next week' just because they want that BR 999 in the game)

TSG, so me, is the guy behind that and its coming for sure. The roadmap and the missing presence on it is a different story, but that will change soon (hopefully). The Loco is not only planned, its already in production and on a good way.

If you don't know who TSG or better me is, that this: TSG = Maik Goltz = responsible for most of the technical and sound setup of virtualRailroads locos since 2011 = contract worker for DTG in TS1 (BR120 Sound, BR155 Sound, BR407 Setup and Sound, BR204 Setup and sound, IC2 Setup and Sound) and TSW (BR425 Sound, ICE3 Sound, BR423 Setup and Sound, BR442 Sound, BR363 Sound).

If it's real, guess we'll see this on the 'in planning' section of the next roadmap, I'm very curious about what additional services it could do, since the 363 is close to release there isn't very much space for new diesel shunting services on the existing routes (except for things like 500 meters movements, boring). Still a cool addition imo.

Yoooo that's a good list of things! That's the proof is coming, thank you very much. As I was explaining earlier, I was quite suspicious because of certain guys that post fake announcements, but this is more than a serious one!

The G6 is not only a shunter but also a main line loco. She's slow, yes, with 80km/h but she does alot of main line services around Germany. A 363 is a pure shunter. They were used for short main line movements too back in the Bundesbahn area, but today its just an old littel slow shunter.

Oh, right! I forgot that! Let's hope for some good mixed (shunting and mainline running) action for as many routes as possible! Finally something that's not red (yes, there's the MRCE 185 but it only has like 30 services on 2 routes in timetable mode, so not a common sight)

I'm guessing DB didn't approve it yet. As in they haven't contacted them to get the license

I believe this is just a case of the HUD information reading in reverse in certain situations. For example if you drive the Class 08 or 09 cab first (ie reverse), it tells you that you are going uphill when in fact you are going down and vice versa. Once you get the measure of it, it's not too difficult but a fix would be good.

Yes. I do believe the numbers shown are always correct, so 2.0% or 1:50 for uphill and -2.0% or -1:50 for downhill and it’s just the train icon that is the wrong way in certain circumstances. If you look at the numbers, that should tell you the actual gradient correctly.

With Maik Goltz on board I'll stay a little longer ;-)
The mentioned locos for TS2021 and the vR DB BR 232 are outstanding especially soundwise.

The G6 and 420 are two I'm already looking forward to, day1 purchase hehe
