Munich Impossible Journey

Journey #4 (red train) in the Munich game, can not be done 3 itmes I have attempted and 3 times it fails

1) can not be left the first station the damn train could not be powered no matter what
2) when getting at the turn over point, gain the train could not be pwered
3) after leaving the turn over point, the first station is not showing, and the timer is showing that I am getting away from the station, and when I was able to reverse, I can not make it to the station as the RED does not let me go trough
PS. there is no way to just start from the last point as this option is never available in this version ofthe game, even if ti was in the previous version

And the Journey can not continue

 

Are you talking about the 4th service in Chapter 1 (mixed) or the 4th service in Chapter 3 (BR 423 - red train)?

Either way, it can be done. I’ve not had any issues with them.

 

I can confirm that, i have completed both services without problems.

 

I am talking about THE #4 run in the Journey, the one where you start standing beside a group of yellow/black pole an the train is on the left of you

 

You should use the ICE instead of the BR 423..

 

it legit also shows an marker where you are suppose to walk/run to

I you mean the blcak peice of candy, those I found a hack to remove them, as they block the view too much for what it suppose to do, and beside thye use speed instead of distance.

There should be the colour mat on the track to show where to stop, and none is showing for the stop after the turnover

 

have you used CTRL 1,2,3 ?

 

HAHAHAHAHAHAH even if youve removed them (which doesnt require a hack, literally hit control + 1 or F1 "hack" you joker) it doesnt take away from the fact you're still trying to drive the wrong train.

bonus point - what are you on about? 61m is a distance, not a speed?

press control + 7 for the colour mat, or you can try your H4CKZ

No. The number keys by themselves are for camera options, yes. But pressing Ctrl + [number] shows/hides different HUD elements on the screen.
For example 1 is cab camera, 2 is exterior camera, etc.
But Ctrl+1 hides the objective marker, Ctrl+5 hides the speedo, Ctrl+7 hides the colored mat on the tracks for stopping, etc.

And judging by what others are telling you, you are still trying to get into the wrong train?

 

The scenario is called "ICE Trouble" and not "BR 423 Trouble", trust me, you are supposed to use the ICE.

That is an inside station, and the second or third run in the Journey, I am talking about a red train that is an arm lenght away on the left side of the pole like the on in picure 1, and it is day time and not night time, and it is the #4 run in the Journey, at least it is what the game is reporting

 

Maybe you can't count properly but chapter 1, scenario 4 IS "ICE Trouble"!
But no matter which one, they all work as they should and you can complete them without problems.
I have 2 left and chapter 3 is finished too, you are clearly doing something wrong.

I have not seen any chapter, and when I choose the Munich set, I get to the Journey, and it says 4/xxxx sorry I can not remmeber the bigger number, but the game does say it is the #4

 

BTW this is not a book, and there is no chapiter

I have never seen this screen, that must be for the european version or whatever version you have, but this does not exist in mine, in mine I have a menu choice at the top CONTINUE JOURNEY with a sideway to the right triangle an right below the CONTINUE JOURNEY is says 4/xxxx

 

And right under it you have another option where you can open the journey chapters.

 

The other option is for EXPLORE and tehn TOOL

Explore is for the FOOT and TIME TABLE, and a few other option that I have no idea what they are for, and the TOOL, I have not been there, as it is probably like most software for troubleshooting only

Humour us all, because obviously we’re all wrong. Can you take a screenshot of the menu and show us exactly which ‘service’ it is you are clicking on?

ps There is no European version. There is just TSW2 and it is the same for everyone.

I’m also 2 services from the end of chapter 3 and I have, but for a couple of mistakes on my part, completed them all without any issue whatsoever.

 

ps If you don’t know how to take a screenshot and upload it here, tell us from the route selection screen, in order, EXACTLY what you are clicking on.

If you’re clicking on ‘Continue Journey’ what number in the sequence is it? If you still can’t figure it out, when it loads press the Esc key and click on schedule and tell us what it says there.

When I get in the Munich section of the game, the first thing on the menu at the very top of the menu, CONTINUE JOURNEY, and it then take me into a station, do not ask me which one I have no idea, and I never been in Germany, then beside and behind there is the yeloow/black pole, and an arm lenght away, there is the red train train waiting, in it I do maybe 5 or so station that I stop at, theen the "last" one I am moved with the train on the left hand side near a green fence, there I am told to go to the back to do a turnover, and then after a few station, first one that the name repeat I have no colour mat on the track to show it is a station that I have to stop, so I can never know where to stop

 

and I still need a camera to take the picture

 

Can you just do what I said. If you don’t we can’t help you.

If it is a service you will start in the cab, in which case press escape, click schedule and tell us the title of the service. If it is a scenario then it will tell you the name of it just before the game finishes loading.

Additionally, nobody is using a camera to take screenshots and although I have been to Germany, I’ve never been anywhere near Munich or Augsburg. That doesn’t mean I can’t read the station name in the game though.

 

are you on PC? press F12, go to steam, click TSW2, then on the right there is view screenshots, click that, click show in folder, there you go - a cameraless photo.

 

So for a while everything goes as expected? Colored "mat" showing you where to stop, you stop, load passengers, the game gives you the next instruction, and so on? If so, then if there is no stop marker mat at the next station, then it means you don't have to stop there, I suppose.

But look, you seem to be able to read english. On the upper-left corner the game always tells you your objective, either it's "stop at location" or "go via location", etc. Why don't you take a look to know what to do?

As for screenshots, you can take one either by F12 (if you run the game through Steam), Ctrl+F12, or simply PrintScreen. Then you can take the image file and upload it. You don't need a camera for that. Of course, implying that you are playing on a PC and not console.

Yes on the TOP LEFT it tell what to do, but for some reason the game does not show the distance, but it shows the speed, or at least it uses the speed unit to show the distance, and I have no idea what the distance would be

Beside I have no idea who was taking the measure, but it show that from one end to the other of a station is more that 1 mile, whicjh would make it a very big station at 1 mile long dock, and I have seen some that are over 200 mile (according to the game at least)

 

He mentioned that he removed the markers with a "hack" and now the whole game is crazy.
Whatever he did, he should get rid of it first.

 

Turns out, he just pressed F1 and removed the HUD altogether ahahaha. His problem is that he doesn't have the Ctrl 7 and Ctrl 1 aid isn't it? With the squares on the track

 

I think that maybe Train Simulators aren’t for you.

 

He has as a profile pic the one you get for taking part in some event where you had to drive quite a bit so he must be experienced

 

So you don't have a smartphone, and you can't take screenshots (which does not require any additional hardware or software outside TSW) to help us resolve your problem?

 

I have the entire HUD, what I use the hack to remove is the candy thing it was a weird blue in the previous version and now black, that hang and move about the screen which ever way it wishes, and block most of the view where it is suppose to show you where to go, and it too is show a speed instead of a distance

 

what does a cellular phone has anything to do witha simulator on a computer
