I have been driving around with the BR146 and BR185 on MSB, RRO and HRR and I have the feeling that there seems to be an issue with the power or traction the locos can provide in TSW2. On TSW2020 you can easily reach a speed of 160 on HRR with the BR146, but when I run the same service on the Preserved Collection in TSW2 the train barely gets to 150. Also when I run the RE1 on SKA, there seems no way the loco reaches the top speed of 160, and there is plenty of time and opportunity there . I also get the same feeling for freight services, it seems much harder and longer to get the trains up to speed, on MSB I get up the ramp at like barely 20 kph. Haven't checked the BR143 yet, but maybe that could be an issue there as well. Has anyone else experienced the same? Can someone from DTG look into this? Thanks
It was/is an issue since release of said locos as part of preserved collection, todays patch was supposed to fix it but a) steam didn't get the update at all and b) apparently consoles did not update MSB and ECW, everything else seemed fine. It is already under investigation though and from Nathalie's statement they found the issue why it did not update already, so lets hope the fixes work as soon as they drop!
