The locomotive YDM4 have been scrapped out. They were built by ALCO in 1960s, for Yard Gauge. Since Yard Gauge have been converted to Broad Gauge, these locomotive have been scrapped. Y for Yard, D for Diesel and M for Mixed Services. This one is the 4th generation. YDM5 was built by EMD, but not successful. Only YDM4 was most successful locomotive for Yard Gauge.
Neat! I thought that one was a GE though, considering the radiator shape. But the sounds sure say it’s an EMD. International locomotives manage to make everything different!
The Locomotive WDP4B is an EMD, although new GE Locomotives 1000 in numbers will be manufactured in India now. I might get some photographs in future.
