So now that next gen is here, the first thing im thinking about is Munchen-Augsburg layers and future big routes. Ps4 has 8GB of DDR5 RAM and Ps5 16GB of GDDR6. What can be done with those 16gb used fully??

Not sure how much memory each of the signals uses but the extra 8gb might enable smooth running of this map at last :D

DTG has said on many other next gen discussions on here they have nothing to announce. Am sure they are working on stuff with plans and ideas to update the current game to run even better on the PS5, but all in good time.

I personally would love to see HDR added to the game. PS4 can output this, just not sure if it would slow things down.

Layers? Yes, sure. HDR? Not neccessary. I can always activate fake Auto-HDR on my TV.

YES to layers, HDR maybe, BUT a 1440p option in settings would be nice for Series S and X and PS5

    You can´t have 1440p because the PS5 doesn´t support that :)

We better stop here. We are walking on thin ice with this discussion. DTG won´t optimise anything for next-gen in the near future for reasons.

Before this thread gets closed as rightly so, nothing more painful that speculation of the unknown...

Hee hee, another next gen thread. All next gen threads should be in Off Topic until something is announced :D

LG OLED B7D. But any newish OLED/QLED should have this option. It´s an HDR mode you can switch on when recieving SDR material.

don’t get me wrong, I’m all for next gen updates or even a proper next gen release.
But it’s ages away and everyone can’t seem to understand the update provided on each next gen thread where Nat says, nothing in the works. Screw it, I’ll create my own next gen thread in the hopes of speeding the process up ;)

you had me at OLED
