I want to present my new idea for developing full-line routes, and I really hope, that DTG will read this post. Production of full-line routes is more complicated than producing a short part of the line. But there are customers, who wants to get full-line routes. Route extensions would be a good way to get full-line routes, but DTG has confirmed that there are no route extensions coming for TSW2 routes. So I will present my idea for making full-line routes. The lines can be produced and released in shorter parts, and these parts will create the full railway line. When completing a service, there would be a new button in debrief menu, "Continue service". When pressing it, it will auto-load the same service into the next route with same weather presets. Example: Ruhr-Sieg line is a 106km German railway line connecting Siegen and Hagen. In TSW2 there is a 61km Ruhr-Sieg Nord route between Hagen and Finnentrop. If DTG will build a 45km route between Finnentrop and Siegen, we will have the full Ruhr-Sieg line, in two parts. This route would use the same timetable what is used in Ruhr-Sieg Nord, and the scenarios would be sequels for the scenarios, which are included in Ruhr-Sieg Nord. When building railway lines in small parts for TSW2, we can have very long lines in future. This would sound a bit expensive, though, but paying more for route which is actually long, would feel that it's more worth it. But honestly, I support more extended or merged routes. What do you think about this idea?
But you still wont be able to travel from one part to the other, right. Unless you mean that they would connect together and allow you to drive from one part of the line through to the other one. If not, I don't like this idea too much.
That's bascially calling for route extensions and I don't want a route seperated in two parts. It kinda kills the immersion for me.
Yes, I know that this would sound a bit boring way to get full-line routes, but if DTG has decade that there are no route extensions coming for TSW2, there are really no route extensions coming for TSW2, and whether you like it or not, we have to accept it, and DTG has all of the authority of TSW2 development.
