Spotted the CSX "Juice Train" out of Tampa recently and it inspired me to make the Tropicana car. It's not the most exciting, but I think the logo came out pretty good. Unfortunately there's no refrigeration car in TSW2, so that juice is questionable...
I still can't understand why the limit is necessary when the game in the end takes that information and compresses it into a fancy jpeg it puts on a train.
I still laugh that my xbox will crash if I have too many of my painted items on one line. If I can handle the graphics for red dead 2, train sim really shouldn't be struggling at all. I'm just hoping as the game matures they will keep fixing these things. If they can get this to be like Forza get ready to see some really sick things on my end....
After a few modifications to the original, I may have gone off and made a lot of variations of the Conrail Dash 8. I couldn't fit all of them in one post though. In order there's... 1. Early 2. Conrail Quality 3. Dirty Early 4. Dirty Quality 5. NS Patched 6. CSX Patched I'm really proud of all these and how they turned out. I'm now starting work on NS versions.
Wow, I really wish I could get those! I’m on Xbox sadly, so I don’t get livery sharing (hint, hint, nudge, nudge, DTG). But I do understand the legal issues involved, and DTG doesn’t seem to have such a big legal team like Forza and Microsoft does. Anyways, great job!
Back to ye olde continent, with this SNCB livery on the DB BR423 ! Since the Belgian local train to Spa is missing from the Köln Aachen timetable, I made it appear as such with this custom liveried BR423 on scenario planner. The BR425 in the background is the train to Gelsenkirchen via Aachen West.
An old unit that was retired from main service and repainted in the pumpkin scheme for maintenance duty. She has seen better days...
The car modelled in the game is a 56' wellcar (which is a strange decision as there are next to zero remaining). A better choice would be 53' over the 48' you put on yours, since they are 53' containers in the cars. Looks great!!!
K! Still can't figure out what train can pull these things....I guess it would be the manifest freight with the gp38-2?
Finished this Rental unit yesterday after seeing it in a couple older Conrail videos. Extended the upper white strip compared to the original train photo (photo 1) thought it looked better that way.
So nice to finally see a Belgian livery. I hope that there will come a day when liveries can be shared. I'll be knocking on your door when that day finally comes
No problem, I'm Belgian too and I always wanted to do it ^^ ! Next on my "to-do-in-SNCB-livery" list is the Talent 2
Can someone give me an idea for livery for an american locomotive I have everyone on the sand patch except for the dash 8
You could always try to do the CSX Stealth scheme that they had early on for the GP38-2 and SD40-2 Or if you want a real challenge
Sorry that I am suggesting but could someone do a Metra Livery on a GP or SD 40 for something (maybe a F40PH)
Lol I got a metra talent I was working on...I'll upload it tonight! It wouldn't look right on either of those two locomotives, they are freight units.Too bad I use xbox and can't share though.
Once we get the preserved locos, I'm going to do all 3 Metra f40ph-2 schemes as well as a bunch of other ones.
He placed a letter M, sheared it to the right a bit and then added an inner curve to the corners (shape 40 in the editor) a few times. Anything in the livery editor is possible on console. It just takes patience.
Yups! All my designs are done on xbox. So take the M, copy it so it's thicker, then add the inner curve on the 3 sides, slant it to the side and you're good to go. Actually I need to lower the top ones, they aren't even. I wish they would have numbers telling us the angles. It's so hard making things level.
