It's that time of the year again: We want your feedback for our annually survey! Help us understand better what content we should develop next by taking part in our survey and grab a 3€ voucher for the Rivet Games store for any product for more than 10€ as a thank you. The survey closes on December 18th 2020. Take part in the survey here: https://forms.gle/cuwQoYPyA8e6mcUa7 Please note, that you'll receive your voucher after the survey is closed.
Just filled it out, some good questions in there. It's nice to see Rivet engaging with the community and finding out what we want to see, hopefully influencing their future products.
Done! I’m very happy with the questions that were asked. Means that they actually reach out to us to find out and I am very great full for that!
That was a nice and engaging survey, hope the results will help you! If possible, let us know one or two things that you learned from the survey. Looking forward to Arosa Line!
Does a console voucher exist? They are available for the rivet store, which doesn't exist on console anyway so... I guess they could give away some 5€ gift cards but that would end up being expensive
The surveys questions seem hopeful for future content surrounding future routes and locos an improvement could be for Console voucher as anyone who doesn’t own the PC version is pretty much ruled out of it
Hi, we added some additional information on the question that might prevented you from completing the first page, might want to try it again? And we're really sorry that we can't provide codes for PlayStation/Xbox! There might be some content though for PC, that you're interested in?
Good survey but as I responded over at TS dot com, a couple of silly questions. Asking potential customers to rate priorities in a payware route high to low means putting items at the bottom, when they are equally important when parting with £25 or £30 for a DLC. The category what product do you own, didn't include older Rivet/Thomson products or a "None Of The Above" which is the case for myself, but I had to select one product I don't actually own to get past the question. And as one who has run up against not being able to reference Thomson/Rivet assets in a personal project without unzipping the AP file and doctoring the bin file for each item in RW Tools, I would have welcomed a question along the lines of, "Do you think our EULA is too restrictive?" or "Do you agree with our policy of preventing assets being referenced in third party freeware?"
I think it was a good survey all in all with some intelligent questions. It was nice to see that Spain, Italy, Netherlands and even Australia are being considered as possible future countries to feature in the game. It would be nice if they could reveal any trends? As DTG did with their 'most requested routes.' My experience of Rivet is limited. Their stuff looks good but doesn't interest me all that much as it's generally EMU based. If they made the same high quality routes, with some realistic diesel or steam driving I would happily buy them. The only route I've had from their area of expertise was the old TS20XX Arosa line, which was very good. The Glasgow Suburban has promise but I've ditched that platform for good.
