Great! Congratulations! But you will need to add the refrigerator, in order the juice arrives fresh to destination!
Looks great! One of these went through my town a couple weeks ago! Just one change, the roof should be black as well.
I know the challenge wasn't for me but after I saw this photo you posted I knew I had to have it for my collection. I call mine Franky (short for Frankenstein) since it took body parts from numerous locos to bring it back to life. Wasn't sure what the other side looked like so I improvised. Was going to try to weather it but I'm at 300 layers.
Looks great. It might help the weathered look if you change that bold green to a more grayish-green, and maybe a brownish-black on the cab roof. Do your handrails last (so they are your top layer) and change your projection settings - the top slider should go all the way to the right and the bottom slider should be lowered to the left so that the paint/shape remains only on the handrail.
Wow! Great job with that paint job. I'm impressed. Apparently (I did some research) this is Wisconsin Central 3008 and it's actually pretty popular. People have even made models of it. That being said, you did a good job with the livery!
So for me I take a few of the layers that look like scratches and stretch them out. Then I change the transparency on them so they look blended. Take the gradient square with your main color and place it over the others. Also take your main color and make a bunch of similar lighter and darker versions of it so things look darker or lighter.
My tribute honoring those who are still fighting the fight and those who have lost the battle. God bless you all.
Licensing issues. It all comes down to licensing. When DTG gets permission to use a railroads logo, it is all on the owner's terms. And they can't "promote" liveries that use logos that they do not have the licensing for.
Once the preserved collection opens up I think I'll have a go with the editor, think I'll go for something simple like 66789 (Class 66 in BR Large Logo Livery) to start with
Merhaba! I'll go make that tcdd unit! Already did an ICE for them. I'm going to use the sd40-2 since it has c type trucks too. Give me about an hour or so to finish it. So on a side note, wouldn't it be fun to chose a county and have all of us make a train from it? I really am tempted to start making some Australian locomotives, I know once the 66 is up to paint it'll open up a massive amount of options for us.
cool. anyway this is the tank car I made. I couldn't put all the writing on it because I ran out of layers.
No problems! This is the first time I added separate boxes for the different vents and handrails to make them stand out better. I like the results.
