The North London/Goblin Lines of the London Overground are already in TSW 2021. It would be nice to see them make a appearance in TSW.

Agreed, though logically this should be incorporated into the Bakerloo Line along with the rest of the Euston to Watford DC Line. And being the old fossil I am, would want this set in the Class 501 era with Broad Street still open!

You know very well they aren't expanding that route. The number of services would be too high for consoles to handle.

Yes and a rattly Cravens class 105 on the North Woolwich to Camden road service. A Stratford one of course with their livery alterations.

There's an old saying in train simming and life - "Never say never."
However there will come a point at which DTG may have to concede longer routes may have to be at the expense of being PC only.

To get london overground in the game would be very nice. They are already in ts2021 so I think this route can be done

I don't think older version of a London Overground route with old era trains would be popular

Why not? NTP and TVL seem to be popular so I can't see why a 1980's NLL route wouldn't be.

Been stated many many times that route length is determined by dev time, not hardware limitations...

It would be much better and quite frankly easier to make it under the London Overground branding and trains (Class 378) since they have the resources for it since it was made in ts2021.

They do, although the branding in BR days was simple and wouldn't need a licence, I don't know what licence they have with London Overground.

They have already have made a class 105 and a class 416 which were used on the NLL line in the 80's so they have the reference material for those to hand too. They are making a class 313 which also ran on the NLL after taking over from the class 416.

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing it modern day but it was so much more interesting back in the 80's with the 501's and then the 416's with the 105's operating to North Woolwich. You could have two of three different classes of unit to drive, both diesel and electric rather than just the class 378.

Also the amount of freight which uses the route means that in the 80's most of the loco classes which were in service could be seen, rather than every freight being a class 66 which is undoubtedly what you would see now.

It is just so much more of an interesting period, so much more variety and certainly for me would hold my interest much longer.

I see where your coming from but personally I wouldn't be a fan. London Overground I think would be popular and the NLL for london overground in particular but I don't know about NLL in the british rail days. If they made it in the br days I wouldn't buy it at all. They have a license for London Overground in ts2021 as well so I'm sure they could make the London Overground North London Line and Gospel Oak To Barking Line as well. Heck maybe even the Watford DC line as a extension of the Bakerloo line

Well yes it is all down to personal preferences I know that. I accept that overall modern routes are more popular but I don't think by a huge margin. I just hope we don't have the same situation as in TS1 where virtually every route release is set in the last 15 years or so.

I can't complain so far but I will be interested to see what the ratio of "modern" to "old" routes is in a year or two time.

It will be intersting to see where the ratio goes. I hope it leans more to the modern side but that's just my personal preference
